“After being a victim of a 4 car pileup on I-680 southbound last Tuesday, to help out the party who hit me I decided to just charge them for the parts I procured from a salvage yard in Modesto and with the aid of my son fix it up to make sure I don't run up the labor costs. Well, after my 1st visit to the salvage yard and obtaining the front, rear bumper assembly, radiator, broken passenger side light, I thought I could pull it off. It was extremely time consuming for me and my son and we managed to get the front bumper off but what next. After giving up on Friday, I decided to venture out and ask for bids from various shops. 1st one was $1300 and I still had to get the needed parts. No thank you. Next was the shop across from Carlos. I let the car stay with him for a few hours. He simply said we can fix the radiator as long as you get the support frame and the adjoining struts out and get the new parts. Duh. My son and I arrived close to 5 pm but the guy was gone. That's when I approached Carlos and he told me he will do the job after looking at a few photos with his employee. I was excited there's hope and over the weekend was making plans on what if the our attempts fail on Monday. This morning I approached Carlos with high hopes and he immediately suggested we go to Modesto to get more parts and he offered to drive me to Modesto in his pickup truck to bring those parts. What an amazing service. Along the way I learnt about him and his family and I could tell how honest and hardworking he was. We approached the place and this is where Spanish comes in very handy. We got all the parts needed and his guys were busy pulling all of the parts to make room for the new ones we were coming back with. We dropped off at around 12:00 pm and I got a call at 3 pm that the car is ready. My jaws literally dropped to see the amazing work they all did and at a fraction of the cost! I highly recommend this fantastic angel of a mechanic.”

“Called first thing in the morning because my car was making a rattling noise. Shawn was more than helpful. Sent me photos of the problem before adding any charges. Gave me a discount bc they were able to diagnose it quickly. They didn’t have the part I needed so he had someone drive over to the dealership to pick one up so they could fix my car that day. Very honest, and did not try to up charge me on anything. Definitely recommend this shop. They fixed an AC in my previous car a few years back and I received the same friendly, honest service from them then as well. Highly recommend this shop.”

The lobby was clean with plenty of places to sit and electrical outlets, and stocked with complimentary coffee, popcorn, and water. Within 45 minutes, Nate called to inform me that my car was ready. I got flagged down on my way to work at 9:30 am because someone noticed my tire was really low, I went to this place because it was the nearest tire shop, and the man aired up my tire and told me it would probably need a patch. I asked if he would be able to do it then since I have a long commute, and he did it right then, at a really good price too!! “Expect a 1.5 to 2 hour wait with an appointment. I brought my vehicle in to get new tires put on. Received a call midway through service saying that if they round off a lug nut that they will stop service. I'll say that yes my lug nuts do look different from the usual and are fluted but I've taken them off multiple times myself and had no issues. I brought back my vehicle a few days later as my steering wheel was shaking while braking. I appreciate that Justin took the time to double check that the wheels were properly balanced checked other things on the vehicle. Minus one star for the guy that needs to use power tools for everything and didn't want to take the care when taking off someones lug nuts. Overall decent experience.”

“If you want quality work done for a good deal and in a timely manner, Aquiles Auto Body & Repair is the place to go. They have done mechanical and bodywork for two of my vehicles and both times I dealt with exceptional service and was satisfied with their work. They had my transmission rebuilt in a week (also for the cheapest price in town) and completely redid my battery terminal connectors as a courtesy. They repaired a tedious dent and repainted my bed in two days for 1/5th of the price I was quoted at another shop.
