“I like the atmosphere. Though being totally out of religion, we attend the place for taking piano lessons and often making the walks all over. Zero people around, peace and singing birds, you can enjoy spending time with yourself. Kind of a meditation area.”

“I was originally awards a VA disability rating in 2010. But as I get on and my conditions worsened, I've struggled to get assistance getting a re-evaluation on my disability. One day, while at the VA in Long Beach, I saw a sign for VA disability claims assistance workshop offered by the Veterans Legal Institute. I attended their workshop in Jan 2023. Within a month, I had an appointment with a VA representative who submitted my claim on the spot. 6 weeks after that, I had my VA disability examination. By August of 2023, I had a new rating awarded by the VA. That's 7 months from first contact with VLI. That is simply amazing!!Anyone who has ever tried to submit a VA disability claim knows how confusing and convoluted the process can be. Not only did VLI streamline the entire process. They were also so nice and helpful. They explained the process in detail and answered all of my questions.I am so impressed with VLI and the service they give to veterans in need. I've been recommending them to all of my fellow veterans to use for their claims.”

“This is a stand alone Thai restaurant with lots of parking. This restaurant has been here a long time and has a sister restaurant on Beach blvd. & Chapman. But I prefer this location which is more convenient.Their menu is extensive but to me every dish is prepared very nicely. Today, they were not too busy at lunch. All the servers were very nice and wore masks so it is much appreciated. We had sautéed mixed vegetables with tofu, fish cake with sweet cucumber dip and curry sauce catfish, all so delicious. We did not order dessert but their Pandan coco jello & their whole coconut custard looked really yummy ... next time.”

“Boys & Girls Club of Tustin is a good place to be at and you can be with your friends. I personally enjoyed it here but there are some things I need to say, mostly involved with staff, rules, and bad decisions with this location. First, I would like to say what is it about the decision to replace the nature room with a pre-k room. As if this wasn't enough, the room was eventually abandoned after one school year and to this day, the room is still vacant. It was already bad enough for the room to be replaced with the pre-k room since there was already a little rascals and the nature room was loved by many people and one of my personal favs. Second, staff. The staff are good and have few negative things. The thing that I don't like is the fact that at a field trip to the waterpark, the staff told me I could not get on but all the other people can and they would not give me an explaination. This is actually mostly on the waterpark as the waterpark would not let me down the slide right away. The staff are good here and Mrs. Dawn does not deserve any of the hate she gets. Even though Mrs. Dawn is a little strict but honestly, the kids there would make an over-reaction on how strict she is. Ms. Tara is really nice and calm. Lastly, rules. The rules here don't have anything to do with the little kids but there are some rules with lunch & the teen room that I don't understand. First, sometimes, there is boy and girl time in the teen room and in my opinion, totally ruins the fact that the name of this facilty is boys (and) girls. Second, Lunch. On Friday, there is pizza for lunch. Boys & Girls Club decided to get lunch from a different facility to get the food and it caused the facility to not order enough food. Sometimes, I even saw people with 2 pieces of pizza while others did not have a slice of pizza and only got an uncrustable or a ham & cheese sandwich on a burger bun. Technically, the food was free but considering the prices to be at the facility as a whole was a little bit crazy. I want to talk about the good things though because there is a reason why this is 4 stars.First off, the club provided glasses free of charge to people who needed them and even brought out a truck where real opticians check your lenses and best part, no painful eye lasers. There was also this mental health program for teens and tweens at the teen room where we got to learn about mental health, red flags and green flags, and important things that teens and tweens should know as they get older. The mental health club even had Little Ceaser's Pizza & when all the classes were complete, you got an award, a free coloring book about motivational quotes, and they held a little party in the teen room. Finally, there are many unique things that kids can do including games like air hockey, carpet ball, pool, and even foosball, the art room where you can learn how to crochet, make robots out of recycled material, and yes, the art teacher, Ms. G taught me how to spray paint the robot. The education center where you can watch movies, read books, and get more coloring pages, the tech center where you can play games on the computers, and let's not even get started on the gym.The gym has lots of things including a rock wall all the way to the ceiling, fun games like pac-man, flag football, sharks and minnows, I even got a hip-hop dance class where the dance coaches taught us how to do basic steps, it was even featured in the news and we got to see a news reporter in real life. Boys & Girls Clubs of Tustin is a great place and while I may disagree in some of the rules, decisions, and other things that this location has, this location has more positive things than negative things.”

“My absolute favorite thrift store to come to! It has a range of sizes (XS-3XL) and the workers are always so nice and helpful. The prices are fair, it's more realistic. Things aren't astronomically low, but they aren't absurdly high (like some other places). But they combat this by having a weekly email (if you sign up) and they do sales almost every week. Definitely gives vibes of your small-town-neighborly-store. Definitely recommended. ?”

“We have been sending our 3 kids to the CBI CDC since 2017 and have had a wonderful experience. The teachers are caring and foster wonderful socio-emotional development as well as authentic learning experiences. My kids have made wonderful friends and always look forward to going to school. We highly recommend the school.”

“I will only donate here. There are families living onsite who are in direct need of clothing, hygiene supplies and food.

I enjoyed volunteering with the children at most risk and I know it’s going to be used and appreciated. Not just like goodwill who claims non profit success stories but don’t even pay their employees with fairness or integrity. Money hungry thieves.

Drive around to the end of the street and pull into the round about. They have men come and help you unload, they appreciate the articles and will be able to make a child/family happy.

Thank you rescue mission for what you instill and allow for the people in our community who need it and willing to make changes in their life for self sustainability”

“Dylan helped me after losing my job, I needed help with rent and He helped me with part of my rent. Not only that they have a food pantry which I would starve if it wasn't for their generosity. They are all helpful and they even bought me a full tank of gas when I was homeless. Who does that? They are 100% helpful. Oh yeah the front security guard gave me 20 dollars when I was homeless while visiting for food.”
