We hit the bulls-eye (got the rate and cash-out I wanted) in two months. Compare that with the SIX months wasted with another mortgage broker that was marked with un-returned phone calls, dismissive emails about legitimate questions ("so why did you add another 1.5 points to the deal?") and an overall lack of professionalism. What a relief to work with CP Financial. You really feel like they are in your court, have your best interest at heart and want to get you the best deal. “I love UCSCU!! My husband has been a member since the early 90s. I joined his accounts when we got married. Our kids joined as they got old enough to need their own accounts. Our youngest got a great rate on a car loan and it was super easy. We always get excellent service and we are treated very well whenever we come in. Several times I have called with a question or an issue and the staff helps me without ever treating me like an inconvenience. I love the way online services have grown over the years. I appreciate being able to zelle my rent payment and receive zelle transfers from my kids for the shared phone plan. Being a non employee, I will always miss visiting the actual Universal branch (employees only now) but Burbank has never let me down and I understand this change came from the company and not the credit union. Thank you UCSCU for being SO MUCH better that all of my previous banking experiences and giving us the resources to teach our children about banking in a safe, welcoming space!!”

“I came in today to remove my refund. The large amount and the process were really easy. The ambassadors were really helpful in getting the whole thing done. I was treated with care and respect because my foot was broken. I had amazing coffee from the batistas. I mean, their coffee is made better than starbucks. The vanilla ice coffee is out of this world. They really help you to maximize your day. The atmosphere is really welcoming not too bright and the seating is really comfortable. I felt relaxed and not what are you doing in here. You can go to the booth to count large amounts of cash if you also need to do that as well. “My husband and I were in Santa Monica and we wanted to work out of a cafe. With a quick yelp search, we found a capital one cafe nearby ! The ambiance was very welcoming and we were able to get a private nook and were able to get some work done. Luckily my husband had a capital one venture X card so we decided to utilize the benefits and got our beverages for 50% off. I got their lavender honey latte and my husband got the mocha. We also got a chocolate croissant. I was super excited about the lavender latte, given it is my favorite flavor. My husband really liked his coffee. Mine was nice too but it was not as hot as I would have liked it to be unfortunately. The croissant was very average and we ended up discarding it because it was cold and eggy. However, given how nice this place is for the ambiance and the coffee, I think I would still recommend checking it out, especially if you are looking to work out of a cafe and need some privacy!”
