“The scheduling department was able to get me an appointment quick. My Dr prescribed me a STAT order and I was seen the same day. The FD employee was very helpful. My ultrasound Tech was also amazing. As I was lying on the exam bed, the tech manually raised the bed with her foot. I would recommend Radnet getting electrical tables/beds for their employees to prevent any future employee injury from having to manually pump the bed up for each patient.”

“Tyonna Yearwood at the Santa Monica Branch is very caring and amazing at her job and God heard my prayers. I needed a personal loan to cover unexpected funeral costs that were just getting eaten up by credit card rates. Then she was able to get my car refinanced for much much lower! This is such a huge burden off my shoulders and now I will see forward progress! I must mention that I am in Arizona now and so all this was done over the phone. I think this may be the first time I’ve ever written a review for someone who actually worked in the Collections Department and was actively perusing me…
I’m fairly certain it will be the only one.
I never met an individual with more understanding and integrity than Dawn.
When I fell behind on the payments on my motorcycle, she helped me find the solution without berating, without insulting, and without condescending. In a way she even became a bit of a surrogate mother, trying to guide me on how to get out of the hole, I’d managed to dig myself into.
With patience and guidance, she was able to help me resolve this problem and get everything back on track.
I’ve banked with UMe for over 20 years, and I’m not exactly “the easiest customer” to deal with. Truth be told, I can be a bit of an asshole. But Dawn knew how to handle it/me.
She’s a rare breed.
Dawn Smith is a true credit to this organization. I’m still to this day, not entirely sure who the president of this particular bank is, but whoever is in charge… you need to give this woman a raise. I’m absolutely certain she has earned it!

“Visalakshi Anande, heard me, so carefully, was able to send me the form via email, explained to me step by step, how to fill the form in order to convert my SBI Pension Savings Account in India into an NRO account. That form will act as KYC, then next I can go to India and liquidate my de-mat SBI Securities on to my NRO Savings. In 2022 I went to get my daughter married, spent two weeks in Mumbai, thinking I would get help. I went to SBI HQ where i worked for 21 years. I went to SBI Cap section, no one heard my story, they made me go from Nariman Point to Lower Parel so many times. I went with all original certificates as my husband passed away on February 10, 2019. The rented flat where we lived got sealed by the landlord, so I did not have an address to give them i gave them my sister's address and cell number. But that does not work in KYC. By the time I left India and reached USA. SBI Caps told me via email, nothing was done, because KYC is missing and they mailed all the death certificates to my sister. Now with Ms. Anande's guidance, when I go to India, in January 2026, SBI Sec. will be able to sell the de-mat shares and put in my NRO Savings and I can also put a Nominee for the NRO Savings. I wish more staff become like Ms Anande. She reminded of myself as I worked in SBI, my service was full of mercy and compassion.”

“I love UCSCU!! My husband has been a member since the early 90s. I joined his accounts when we got married. Our kids joined as they got old enough to need their own accounts. Our youngest got a great rate on a car loan and it was super easy. We always get excellent service and we are treated very well whenever we come in. Several times I have called with a question or an issue and the staff helps me without ever treating me like an inconvenience. I love the way online services have grown over the years. I appreciate being able to zelle my rent payment and receive zelle transfers from my kids for the shared phone plan. Being a non employee, I will always miss visiting the actual Universal branch (employees only now) but Burbank has never let me down and I understand this change came from the company and not the credit union. Thank you UCSCU for being SO MUCH better that all of my previous banking experiences and giving us the resources to teach our children about banking in a safe, welcoming space!!”

If you are in the Burbank or Glendale area, or anywhere in the valley, be sure to look up Karmen Edgarian. She is absolutely amazing. She listen's to you, looks for the best deal, even if another bank may have it. Not many people do that.
And yet she is fiercely loyal to Banc of California and seeks new innovative ways to drum up business, but not at the expense of the consumer. She truly enables a win-win situation.
Karmen is truly a one of a kind banking professional. She alone is worth checking out the bank. She cannot be recommended highly enough.”
