“On New Year's Eve, my wife (this is her Yelp account) and I were on a holiday trip from our home in Palm Desert to visit relatives in Los Angeles, when our 1984 VW camper van began overheating due to a coolant leak. After calling my brother to apprise him of our trouble, he referred me to "Rocky" at Cobra, as my brother used to deliver auto parts around the Southern California area and he told me he knew Rocky, who runs the shop, to be an honest guy and a straight shooter. Well, I called Rocky and he was willing to help out an out-of-towner in a difficult situation. After listening to me describe the problem, he took time on the phone to give me advice on how to get the van back on the road without over-heating the engine, and told me he would take a look at it despite the late hour on New Year's Eve. We followed his advice and got back on the road, and fortunately we made it to our relative's safely that evening without having to stop for more substantial repairs. What was really impressive is that Rocky called me back, hours later, to see how we were doing, and offered to fix the problem on New Year's Day if I needed him to do so! Well, with extra coolant and care, we made it back home in our old van and were able to take it to our regular mechanic out here in the desert, but I will always be grateful for the time Rocky spent on the phone with me, for his helpful advice, and for his willingness to assist a traveler he had never met who was in a tight spot. It is really nice to know that good mechanics who are also good people are out there when you need them. Thank you for your time Rocky, and thank you for your kindness to strangers who needed your help to get back on the road. Tom C.”

I didn’t catch the name of the young lady who helped me get going with my full service wash, but she was super helpful as soon as I pulled in. That was followed by the best detail wash experience I have ever had from Caesar. He made our minivan that carries around 2 teenagers and a toddler look and smell brand new. “Went here they did a Great job. Iam greatful they still have old school car wash around. Even when you go to other self service drive through, car washes you still have to get out and vacuum your own car, and clean the end side. So I know it's better to go where someone can do it all for you. For me it's better having a back injury I can't do it myself. Thank you”

They are constantly making improvements to the place including the car wash. Best part is they actually listen to their customers and keep up with the feedback they receive.
