“We met Andy Luu for the very first time yesterday to help us with setting up New Accounts. he is so kind and thorough, even willing to cut short his break and tirelessly explaining all aspects to an Elderly Lady, impressed me the most is that he offered us coffee, tea, cold or warm water!”

“Local in-store branch US Bank with ATM just passed the Lottery, Coinstar and animal plush crane drop machines.Open 6 days a week, including Saturdays until 4pm... Pre-pandemic in-store branches were open on Sundays as well, but with mobile banking and even atm features improving every year there's definitely not as much of an urgency for in-person bank services, however this branch is definitely there to help. Some of my favorite tellers in Los Angeles, very personable, efficient and friendly and willing to help. This location is inside the Ralph's on Van Nuys & Burbank Blvd just before the pharmacy. The line, if any usually forms along the isle land for either a tell or the ATM.”

“I don't normally do reviews or even go into detail when I do. But I have to highlight a delightful interaction I had today.1st let me start by saying I only use this location for thier ATM. I had previously really negative experiences with the employees here. Today was different when I pulled up I saw a young man cleaning the stairs an atm area. Like literally he had a bucket and a broom cleaning the stairs. I asked him was he trying to kiss up to his boss and he laughed saying his boss wasn't in the office today. So I asked him why do it ?.... his response was he has pride where he works. This blew my mind! I spoke a bit about my bad experiences at this branch and he told me that's why he was hired to change the perspective. He gave me his business card and told me to fill free to reach out whenever I have questions. There was no pressure at all, it felt like i was talking to a old friend. Delbert I will be coming to see you soon an open an account you rock! I hope this reaches his ceo because I did try to recruit him lol. Priority 1 I like the shift from all my other bad experiences”

“Bank of America6551 Van Nuys Blvd. Pros:- Cashiers, Financial Runner-Guy, and Account Managers are all accommodating, upbeat, professional, and helpful.- 6551 Van Nuys Blvd. is conveniently located in VN - with easy access to quite a few businesses (mini USPS, So Cal Gas/Dept of W&P, Courthouses, Government Buildings, 7-11, El Pollo Loco, Yoshinoya, that Smoothie place, etc.).- They have reopened post-Covid (since August 2022).- Hand Sanitizer dispensers in multiple places w/easy access.- New pouf/ottomans beside teller windows.- Building is spacious and groovey, late 1960's-style.Cons:- No A.C. and that building has zero airflow. It's stifling. We've had cool temps lately 50°'s + 60°'s, but it's hot in there. When it's 105° in Van Nuys, it's sweltering. The very least they could do would be to add a couple of fans so customers don't pass out while in line.- No music. No sound at all. Just a hot, silent huge room.- 1 teller when they opened at 10am today (pretty common, in my experience). The other 2 or 3 tellers are around but doing something else? Wouldn't it make more sense to have a couple/few tellers at busy times? Approximately 20+ customers in line, waiting for a teller. - Shorter hours M-F 10 - 4 and closed on Saturdays.Summary:Overall I like this BofA. It's one of the businesses that is still here in Van Nuys (I was worried there for a while when they closed for so long) but they're back! They just need to make a few improvements, that's all.”

“I've been to many BoA locations, and you won't find a better manager than the one who's located at Woodman Avenue and Sherman Way in Van Nuys. Joni goes out of her way be helpful, she's warm and approachable, and she truly understands what it means to be committed to providing exceptional customer service. This particular location has a very professional atmosphere whenever she is in charge, which is a clear testament to the leadership she provides. I've been a BoA customer - both personally and professionally - for many years, and I've never written a review about any other Manager, but I'm doing so today not because I was asked, but rather because I believe in acknowledging someone's efforts when they warrant it. If more Managers, including the other Manager at this location, followed her example, I suspect the bank would have a much higher star rating.”

“I read the reviews lately about the slow service and lines. I have to say, not the case on my visit- inside was a bit 1980's but great service! I am actually a Chase Client but have a credit card with Citi (Costco). I was helped immediately and the young man at the teller line was not able to take my cash (i forgot they sent me a notice a few months back that I cannot pay with cash at a branch anymore). The manager was helping someone at the atm and the teller took me to atm to try to help me make the payment. I didn't remember my PIN so I could not., and he introduced me to the manager (Jose I think) who recommended a few options for me. In the end- they were eager to help.... Not the same at my bank- Chase--- thinking i'll be switching to Citi. My wife was upset though-they asked her 3 times in the lobby if she needed help with anything... Um honey- they are being polite and helpful! I own a carpet cleaning business- we know customer service!”

“I originally needed to upgrade my regular checking account to preferred checking but customer service over the phone couldn't get it done. They had this odd reason that I'm not able to upgrade at the time. So I went to this branch to complete a transaction and spoke to a banker about it. The gentleman is Jose and he gladly assisted me to upgrade accounts. He was friendly, fast, and efficient. I recommend going to this branch for such assistance.”

“Went in to open a joint bank account had to set up an appointment about 1 week in advance as these times are busy. Came in and we were greeted by Erik, the gentleman that we had our appointment with. He was very attentive, friendly, and most of all helpful. He answered all of our questions and streamlined the process for opening the account and explaining each step as needed. I’m glad to have Chase in my corner for all of my banking needs.”

“Well I'm glad to announce that the smile under the masks have returned here at the Best staffed B of A in town. This place is such a warm and friendly staff. By far the nicest person has got to be the one lady that works behind the counter. You know the one, (ALL OF THEM). Patrick is super helpful and was instrumental in helping me open my account there. Such a patient gentleman. I leave happy after every interaction I have in that building, to be honest when they closed for a few weeks a month ago, I ran into one of the employees at a different branch and felt like I was visiting a friend. (In jail maybe because of the glass separating us, J/K on the jail thing). Come to this branch, and enjoy your experience. But try not to come between 3-4pm since that's when I like to go.”

“The location could be better, but overall it was a good experience. I've banked with Chase for years now, and love when they give me quick and friendly service. This location doesn't seem to fall behind. Don't be fooled by its' exterior, the inside is pretty appealing.”

“Busy location, short staffed. Not sure what corporate is doing. They are driving their customers away. No one has time nowadays to stand in line for an hour to get a cashiers check. You can't do everything online or at the atm sometimes you have to come in. Everyone works so hard but it's nearly impossible to run such a huge branch with very little staff. Roy is the manager here and does a great job running the place considering the challenges of being short staffed. I have been a Wells Fargo customer since 1998 and never seen such a mess.”

“My husband and I opened a Joint Bank Account this passed week. An appointment head of time should be made We made an appointment by speaking with the branch manager that was on duty Claudia Gonzales is a great personal banker, I highly recommend her knowing she will deliver the underlining key details as far as fees, price range, and credit score growth for young bank on goers like my husband and myself The entire process was fair, easy, quick and informative. All questions were answered, easy flow of conversation, a natural relationship was created.”
