“Love this place, I live in Arizona and visit California occasionally when I want to get away from the desert for a couple days. The boutique is so colorful, friendly atmosphere in my opinion. I am not sure if the jewelry is real gold or plated but a lot of the options are gorgeous. Kaftans are a very popular trend, don't think this type of style will ever phase out. The garments are perfect to wear to the beach, pool parties, events, and even perfect to wear whenever you do a cruise vacation. Love!!!!!!!”

She kindly greeted me and asked me what I came in for, then assisted me in everything along the way.My father only likes a certain type of clothing, and I was a tad skeptical coming in, but Isabella made a few suggestions and I bought all of them. We must have gone through the whole store and had a deep conversation about my fathers tastes - the colors he wears and the materials, and she was able to find compatible pieces of clothing that would extend and expand his wardrobe.Madewell on Abbot Kinney stands out because of employees like Isabella. I hope to see her again when I come in next time though she did say she was only seasonal. No one has helped me in any other store as she did.”

“The store has the cutest and coolest stuff, not just festival gear but all kinds of different handmade garments and beautiful stuff that other stores don't carry. You could come in here to get ready for Burning Man or you could come in here to find a gift for one of your best friends who is going on vacation somewhere. Tropical. Everything is handmade and much of the materials sustainably sourced, a real gem of a store to walk in to. Hard not to buy something! !

The woman who worked there assisted with choosing a pair of flowing slacks. The price was in line with Bloomingdale's or Neiman Marcus, perhaps less. The style and look was what sold me.”

Hard to find the store - a more prominent store sign would do wonders but well worth the trip even though other Velvets are closer/more convenient to visit. Brittany and Haleigh are so welcoming and helpful with their advice and locating specific sizes/colors. Not only do I feel like shopping, I also love what I take home with me and haven't made one return since shopping with them - that's saying a lot! Their in store specials are an added bonus.”

“Does Rudy Jude have a high price tag? Yes. But before you dismiss their products I urge you to consider the unseen costs associated with unsustainable, poorly made, petroleum based fabrics that most clothing is made from. Rudy Jude orders also take a while to arrive - this is because they thoughtfully make seasonally appropriate batches of clothing based on their orders during a set amount of time. Again, sustainability with regard to their environmental footprint (not producing more than they need) as well as the long term sustainability of each item of clothes they produce (ie., it’s quality material/construction/tailoring) is at the heart of this. I work outside, year round on a large property in rural Colorado doing tough-on-clothes jobs. Every Rudy Jude piece I own has been an investment, every pair of pants (don’t get my started on my favorite RJ button down top or sundress) I own has been put to the test , taken a beating, washed too much ( probably in hot water ) - thanks to farm animal poo or moldy hay - you name it. Every pair is still in amazing shape (softening beautifully with wear , but NO knee blowouts, etc.) Additionally, despite their rapidly expanding popularity, Rudy Jude customer service is excellent: responsive, beyond attentive to your needs, and makes you feel like THE customer they cater to. I cannot say enough about this beautiful company, their incredible clothing, their inclusive sizing, and the folks who work for said company. Go ahead, invest in a piece. You will not regret it.”
