I was upfront about this when I first called Jerry because I wanted to be clear that there would be no sale involved, but that I'd be more than happy to pay what he thought was fair for his time. He was kind enough to agree to help me out.He treated me like a valued customer throughout. He booked an appointment for me for the very next day and took care and attention with my measurements.When he was done, I asked him how much the charge would be and he said not to worry about it. I tried to press a bit to pay, because I value other's time, but eventually let up because I didn't want to come off as ungrateful.Thanks again Jerry! “I love shops that have clothing and designs you can only get in that store, and Japangeles is that kind of store. Located in Little Tokyo in Japanese Village Plaza among many other shops, this one stands out. They sell mainly men's clothing, but I think their stuff is unisex (shirts, hoodies, jackets, etc.) Their sizes run a tad small imo. They don't have an online shop which I think is really cool because shopping in Little Tokyo is an experience on its own and I highly recommend. However, they do online pop-ups every so often which they announce on Instagram. The staff is always so nice and helpful every time I visit. Definitely check out this place next time you're in LA.”

“Stopped into this look for some last minute gifts for the holidays. I entered into a beautifully decorated space with a warm, sunny vibe. The owner/designer was friendly. There’s also a selection of jewelry/accessories and shoes as well as home goods, like candles. Great place to find something for yourself and a loved one.”

“Came on a Saturday but still had the honor of meeting the resident shop manager, Sunday the Cat! The employees are super kind and welcoming and willing to answer any questions. The store is large with both guys and gals sides and had a more relaxed atmosphere than most "vintage" places I've experienced around LA.The prices on both vintage and modern pieces were so reasonable, lots of items under $10 and there's a $1 rack out front. The fitting rooms are closed for now but you can try on the items over your clothes. They do not purchase items from customers and source from wholesale overseas. Love this place..!!”

I come here pretty often for clothes or to return my online purchases. Each time I come, I'm greeted promptly and the staff is so nice. They'll also price match if an online item is cheaper.Employees are nice, things are organized. No parking validation though.”

“This place really does just get it done. Bought here twice, once for my buds wedding and now my own. This place is perfect for a quick turn purchase and tailor. They have a bunch of sizes all in the same color which is very valuable when you're buying for your groomsmen. Their tailor is right next door and they walk you over to them. The staff here always leaves me feeling they hooked me up! They do talk and move fast but I personally like that pace when I'm trying to get things done last minute. Ideal for groomsmen who need the same suit all the same color and you get a shirt, tie, and handkerchief. It's a one stop shop which I appreciated! Suit quality is about what you pay for they're not the highest, but they look good in pictures and tend to be some wool blend.”
