I am absolutely amazed by the service at the United States Postal Service in Westwood. Every single letter I send from this location reaches its recipient without any issues. In the past, my mail would often get lost when sent from other branches, but here everything works flawlessly!
The staff are wonderful — always friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to answer any questions. They work quickly and accurately, and they know exactly when to suggest additional services. Everything here is just perfect. Thank you!”
“Really convenient little shop with super friendly and helpful customer service. They handle shipments via FedEx and USPS Ground, which makes it easy to get things out quickly. Just keep in mind this is an affiliated location, not a full FedEx store, so if you’re looking for special FedEx rates or full services, you’ll need to go to a main FedEx location. For everyday shipping needs though, this spot is quick, easy, and reliable.
Parking could be tricky, but there is a big strip mall just behind the corner”

Seriously, the entire team from Lupe to Daniel to Raul have allowed me to grow my business faster than I had ever hoped.Looking for a Post Office with actually super friendly employees and great service? Well, turns out it exists and it’s nestled nicely within Topanga.My only concern is that the team seems to be understaffed and overworked since the new Postmaster took over. The team works as hard as humanly possible, but there are still limits to what can be reasonably accomplished with only one or two employees at the front, especially as we approach the busiest time of the year for packages and mail.Thank you team!Andy”

“While the hours are less than to be desired at this local annex to the larger Post Office this makes up for in its lovely and helpful employees. Most associate the post office with stress. This is not that location. It’s all about how they can help and they are always professional and very friendly. High fives all around although I wish they had abbreviated Saturday hours to avoid the Sepulveda location which is poorly located with so much traffic.”

“I cannot believe the Patience and care that those window clerks use when dealing with customers that show up wanting to send Something, don’t even have a package sealed, much less than address and the clerks go ahead and do all their work for Them which of course makes the line slower. Most people don’t expect to show up, totally unprepared to actually mail something but then there’s the small minority that causes backed up lines.”

“All USPS locations have gone down hill, in my experience, since DeJoy took over. And Steiner doesn’t seem much better — but, this is one of the better locations of all the bad options in this part of LA. I like it better than the one near Fairfax & Santa Monica, as well as the one over on Wilcox. Though this one can be short staffed and the drop off box for packages often sticks, the employees that are here seem nicer than average and the wait often seems shorter. I’ve noticed, too, that packages dropped off here seem to enter the tracking system before packages dropped off at any other nearby USPS branch! Which is important to me.”

“I had the best experience at this facility. It was my first time sending a money order, and the clerk was most attentive and guided me through it. I made some mistakes at the beginning, and she cheered me up, helped me undo them, and even made sure I shipped it correctly. I was genuinely surprised by how nice this clerk was (I'm sorry, I should have remembered her name).”
“The staff here are really nice. They have to put up with a lot of crazies, adults acting like children who can’t wait 5 min in line and yell. They’re understaffed but I appreciate them for being kind and moving as quickly as possible”
“I feel I have to write a review because its so odd this location has a low score. seems most people are making reviews out of personal annoyance, and not the objective quality of the spot.
that said, this is my favorite Post Office in LA (not in the Valley or East LA). kind and understanding staff that always makes sure my packages are well handled with no fuss. only con is they are decently understaffed, so the line can be quite long if you arrive at a rush. but if you wait in line, the service is super helpful and kind”

“We went here in early December 2024 to get my 6 month old’s passport photo & submit her passport application. Michelle helped us and was so kind & sweet with our little girl. It’s clear that Michelle is a core part of this community. She seemed to know almost everyone who walked through the door, greeted them by name, & asked questions about how they were doing. She brought a smile to everyone person who walked through the door that morning. Thank you Michelle.”
“I wanted a printed and email receipt but didn't get either. I was about to walk out pretty upset but then when I turned around I told her lady at the counter that I really needed the receipt because I paid extra for tracking number she let me go right ahead and printed a receipt for me. Great customer service she was really sweet she was the only one there.. even though there was a line she was very patient and welcoming.”

“If you ever encounter an issue with this post office, I highly recommend speaking with them directly. Our mail carrier demonstrated exceptional kindness and dedication by going above and beyond for us during a difficult situation. When I faced obstacles with the AI system and felt like nothing was going my way, I decided to visit the post office in person. I discovered that the staff were incredibly sensible and genuinely cared about my concerns, taking immediate action to address them.
In this particular situation, our passport was lost due to a substitute carrier misdelivering it, which was quite distressing. However, when I explained the situation to the postal workers, they understood the urgency and dispatched our regular mail carrier to locate it. Thanks to their efforts, the passport was found within a few hours. I'm extremely grateful for the postal workers' genuine care and practical approach.
PS we did our passports here and Saturday is included!”
“This was the second USPS I visited to deliver an Operation Santa gift. The first office I visited wasn't trained nor knowledgeable of the service I was explaining. The male worker at the Manhattan Beach USPS that assisted me was very knowledgeable, quick and efficient. I would return to this USPS to continue using their services, even after the holidays.”

“I arrived around 2:45 pm 2 days ago (a Wednesday) with 3 items to package and ship. Postmaster was so friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and helpful! She helped me select a flat rate shipping option that worked well for a heavy item. She was also able to keep the line moving quickly, despite being the only person on duty.”
“Neighborhood post office. Nice to get cardio and walk over. Staff simply the best. They are very knowledgable. All staff give each customer attention and suggest ways to save on outbound parcels.”
“I love the convenience of this location! If you are on the UCLA campus, it is THE place to send off your snail mail to other cities, states, and countries. Sure, it is a bit small and cramped, but they offer nearly everything you need a post office to do... mail pre-postage paid items, pay for postage on boxes, buy stamps, etc. They even offer free tape and scissors. The longest I have seen the line is 6 people, and it has never taken more than 15 minutes to get to the front of the line... even during tax season. My local post office takes far longer, so I typically bring all of my mailing to work to send off from this location. The student workers are friendly and knowledgeable. Mail is usually picked up at two times during the day (1 p.m. and 4 p.m., I believe) and this location does not receive any mail or boxes (which expedites the line).”
