“I’ve been going to Ventura Surf Shop my whole life. They’ve always been helpful and friendly. We asked to donate some old boards and they helped us unload them right there. I ended up buying a consignment board after having some questions answered by the knowledgeable staff. They installed a stomp pad for me, sold me base coat and some Treeswax, and helped me get out surfing in no time, without feeling rushed. The staff is top notch. Thanks for serving the community for so long!”

“Came in to get the custom insoles made and when walking later that afternoon I could feel the left insole was off. Went back in a few days later and let them know, and they made me another pair without hesitation. When walking later that afternoon, now the right insole was off. Went back in a few days later and asked if I could just have the right insole of the first pair, and keep the left insole of the 2nd pair. They didn't give me any grief at all, and now I've been walking with happy feet since MLK weekend. Thank you guys so much!”

We both learned a lot, and she was able to give easy-to-follow advice to improve our technique and accuracy. I’ve been to a couple of other lessons at other places and this is by far the best. “I love that they have deals just about every single day. Coupons all the time, which means you can find great gear at really great prices leveraging deals and coupons. Bought my daughter, a knife and myself a knife last time we went for really cheap. Sign up for their emails and coupons and go get the goods when they're on sale. Got that $60 Spyderco for 35 bucks a couple years ago. And just picked up this buckshot the other day for $8.”

“❤️ Walden Surfboards. It was a super easy process to create a custom Walden Magic model longboard. I love the fact that Walden surfboards provides a mock picture of your custom board to ensure we were on the same page, provided great comunication and very helpful with board dimension suggestions. Great attentive customer service & quick response times. Big props to the person who wrapped my board like fort knoxs, probably used 2 rolls of masking tape, tons bubble wrap! Looking forward to expanding my quiver with Walden Surfboards! Mahalo nui loa ??♀️??”

“Excellent selection of wetsuits and shred sled rocket ? whatever you swerve. Very accommodating helpful staff and i recommended asking about the custom tayloring. I have a prosthetic left leg and i got a suit. Buddy and Hector shoutout too for the research and development. Adding a zipper and modify the appropriate area to fit perf! Beginner friendly also super mellow relaxed vibes. I forget who helped me at the shop but i remember the person. I just can’t wait to deploy and enjoy the new suit. “I was drawn to a pair of shoes on display and then found their well organized clearance section in back. Even better, I found a pair of shoes with the right size in stock. Lots of Skechers in stock, my favorite, so I didn't have to run to Santa Barbara, Camarillo, or Valencia. Location is good by Sprouts and Kohls, with plenty of parking.”
“I came to the mall the other week and stopped into this Foot Locker. Store was very mellow/empty. Staff was polite and greeted me asked if I needed any help. Store overall was nicely stocked, looked clean and organized. I was happy to find Adidas workout pants for 50%. I seen they had some Nike ones for 50% also. The staff said it’s a regular thing for them to rotate them for that nice discount. Definitely look forward to coming to purchase more items from here. I recommend you checking them out if you need shoes or workout/athletic gear. Might be one of the few nice stores left at the Pacific View Mall.”
