“The entire process was wonderful from walking into the showroom through the installation process. We love our new fireplace insert and are thrilled we got this done to enjoy during the recent stormy weather.”

“Thank you to Brie at the Walnut Creek store and Jarod who helped me track down these earrings! Bought originally when at a conference and I came across the Alpharetta GA store. Lost one about a week later and was heartbroken! Thanks to these two for all their help and getting it all done so quickly and remotely (I live in MA)! Highly recommend Makers Market!”

“I bought an Elfa system for a small bedroom closet. When I went to install it, the top support was too long. I went back to the store and they recut it for me. A few days later I tried again to install it and the top support was now a little too short. I tried to install the system and could not make it work. The right side kept collapsing because the top support was a little too short. After several hours, I gave up and called to ask if I could hire someone from the store to install my system. Needless to say I was upset as this was the 6th Elfa system I had worked on and had never had a problem. I spoke with Kristin and she arranged with her manager Luisa to have a technician come to my home and install my system. Mark the installer came a few days later, fixed the problem and got my closet system installed. It is beautiful and perfect thanks to the great service I got from the associates at the Walnut Creek Container Store. Luisa even followed up to make sure all was well. In my case they didn't charge me extra for this service. I am not saying this would happen every time, but they saved me in this instance. I am delighted and could not be happier with the kindness, professionalism and care they showed me.”

“I highly recommend Ethan Allen for elegant high quality furniture and the ability to tap into their design expertise. I helped my parents who are in their 80s move from their Marin County home of 40 years, to Stoneridge Creek in Pleasanton and I took them to Ethan Allen to complete their furnishings. Marianne Arons-Portman an Interior Designer par excellence at Ethan Allen in Dublin worked with us very patiently to create the kind of custom office my parents wanted in their new retirement community. Marianne also helped us find an elegant display cabinet to fit with their dinning area and reupholster a chair to fit with their living room pieces. Marianne listened to my parents wants and desires, made a site visit to show us fabrics for the chair, took measurements, and created drawings for easy installation of the office floor plan when the furniture arrived. Today the office furniture arrived, and my parents are so pleased with the outcome. Ethan Allen with Marianne's expertise has made their new home complete.”

“I came in this Ross store to find some Christmas gifts! This was, without a doubt, the cleanest, most organized Ross store I have ever been in!! It was also very well stocked, even during the holidays. With all that organization, the gifts were easy to find. Even the checkout line was quick. I also found some really good deals in here, that's always a good thing!! This store is located in the Main Street Plaza in downtown Walnut Creek!”

“i’ve shopped at many Crate & Barrels throughout California. Unfortunately, more often than not, merchandise i seek is RARELY in store, only online! I prefer to “cash & carry”.”

“If any yelpers have followed my reviews, I have tried to be as fair as possible in reviewing businesses. Yelp reviews have enabled me to get the best of personal and home services OR stay away from trouble ! So it is very important to me to ensure that I evaluate the businesses not solely based on an one-time experience, but several before making a sweeping pronouncement. I get it that a bad review can affect businesses - and especially smaller ones - although big businesses can be affected as well.To that end, I have gone into Pottery Barn Walnut Creek numerous times and my "expereince " has been consistently good. This review is being given in August 2023 and rating covers a half-year expereince going to the WC store.I am most impressed that Pottery Barn staff has become more diverse over the years - and that in itself - is worthy of praise. So many of these businesses especially in communities like Walnut Creek can be tone-deaf.Pottery Barn is making an effort to hire a multi-cultural staff. Not sure what "corporate looks like" - but at least in the "community" they are trying. I also see that they are hiring more "seniors" - as not all of us want to "retire."As for customer service, I have always found their team members pleasant, down-to-earth, and helpful. No attitudes, no judgement about class or social status. And the cases where I have had to return items, the process has gone smoothly. In summary: that is MY HONEST IMPRESSION OF THE POTTERY BARN WALNUT CREEK STORE.THE SAN RAMON STORE IS ANOTHER ANIMAL: I agree with the other reviews for that particular store - went in there once and will definitely pass on future visits. They are the antithesis of the Walnut Creek store. You feel like you want to remind them who the customer is !And BTW: For the staff at San Ramon, African-Americans have money (and taste), too. So it is OK to wait on them/answer their questions.Enough said!”
