“I've only ever been here at night so don't know what it's like in the day but going at night is a definite vibe. With the view and the lighting, it's very chill and definitely romantic. I find the menu choices adequate although somewhat limiting.
The staff are friendly and helpful especially when one is undecided about what they want. The service was very good.

“First time to this iconic location and it was the best show I've been to. The vibes were incredible, staff was so chill, bartenders were crushing it and despite being a smaller venue it was so easy getting in and out of the crowd for drinks, bathrooms, whatever.

“I was fortunate to stay here for 1 week to recover from a spinal surgery. The amazing managers and front desk staff checked in with me regularly — happy to bring anything I needed from Ice to water. “This was an exceptional stay — genuinely Aman-tier service at a Marriott property, which is not something I say lightly.

I called ahead to explain that I have progressive Parkinson's at 40, had been traveling hard, and needed to land and nap before an important 5pm meeting. Nathan was extremely responsive and offered me a very early morning check-in without hesitation or friction. This set the tone for my entire stay.

From the moment I arrived, every single staff member knew my name. The valet team was extraordinarily attentive to my disability — proactive and helpful, which is exactly the right instinct. I was upgraded to a beautiful room, had four guests up during my stay for a small gathering with exceptional room service. The entire experience was effortless.

Saodat at the front desk deserves her own paragraph. Every time I stepped out of the elevator she was at my side asking what I needed. Her responsiveness felt like a reflex not her job.

This was an epic stay. For the tier, it over-performed enormously. The highest performance I've experienced in the Marriott portfolio, and Im a lifetime platinum elite member. Thank you to Nathan, Saodat, the valet team, and everyone who made it what it was. I'm booked to return the next two weekends.

Lisa at the front desk for her consistently warm presence. Neb for the Italian gin negronis. Jesus for the epic noon upgrade to a Villa— the walk-out shower with the giant slider overlooking the Hollywood Hills is genuinely inspirational. Alex and Omar from the guest experience team.
This property really feels unique within the Marriott brand. Lifestyle vibes, feels distinctly West Hollywood. Really is the best American Marriott service experience.”

I recently attended a multi-day Connections Luxury program hosted at The Lot at Formosa, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The venue is modern, beautifully designed, and perfectly set up for high-end meetings and incentives.

From curated networking spaces to seamless A/V and production, everything supported meaningful conversations and professional connection — exactly what this industry thrives on. Staff on-site were friendly, efficient, and very proactive in ensuring our group was well taken care of. Catering and coffee service were also top-tier (always appreciated when you’re in full conference mode!).

If you’re looking for a stylish, elevated space in West Hollywood for summits, business events, or luxury travel programs — this location delivers. I’d gladly return for future Connection experiences here!

“Amazing hotel with tons of history! Perfect location too! My wife and I stayed here during our trip to Hollywood and Beverly Hills. It is so centrally located that we walked almost everywhere.
