“Thank you for a great stay at the Pendry. I’d particular like to thank Adrienne on the Concierge for her friendly welcome and her help throughout my great. She was great. I’d also like to thank D’Lo and Carlos for their customer service, they were also so welcoming. The customer service really made a difference to my 12 days stay. I miss seeing them everyday!”
“Wonderful room, beautiful decor. I loved the neighborhood as well as the neighborhood feel of the hotel. We are a family of four with teenagers, and there aren't that many options that keeps everyone happy that don't involve booking two rooms. The large suite with two queens and a pullout worked perfectly for our needs, and the teenagers appreciated all the cool stores and restaurants within walking distance. The one complaint I have was that you could hear doors slamming during the daytime. I suspect it might have been just our room location, close to the staircase, right above an exit. It didn't interfere with our sleep, but if I had a napping baby during the day, I would have asked to switch rooms. Gorgeous rooftop pool area. The vibe, the neighborhood, the room layout were spot on for us. The front desk folks were extraordinarily nice. Parking is expensive, but I knew that would be the case from prior reviews, so I wasn't caught off guard. Would stay again.”
“The Chateau was full due to the Grammys, so we checked in across the street—what a lucky find! Very personable yet stylish, with a great balance of renovation and preservation. Excellent mixology, and an even better breakfast (served until 11). Valet parking was seamless, and the pool was perfect. We’ll definitely be back ASAP.”
“More like a residential hotel, it turns out, than a hotel. No robes or slippers, have to request housekeeping service! I was surprised I had to request housekeeping daily as an option and they were surprised I requested it, which was begrudgingly granted. Weird.”

“We spent several days at The Charley over the Christmas holiday and would give them 10 stars if we could! Our visit was absolutely perfect, in every respect. After we booked, they reached out to coordinate our arrival, and the staff continued to shine throughout our stay. The lady who greeted us, and the gentleman who was in the office for the next few days, were both consummate professionals and incredibly friendly. They took care of anything that we needed, in the least impactful way possible. The housekeeping staff was, similarly, very responsive and efficient. The property, itself, is spectacular. It is a wonderful relic of old Hollywood and located in a great neighborhood. We stayed in the Oscar suite, which was beautifully appointed, quiet, and so comfortable. The Charley is a class act and we thank you for making our visit so enjoyable. We look forward to the next one!”
“The waiter was absolutely delightful, gave us an experience like no other! Shared stories and treated us like friends couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Shout out to Otto, sending love from Australia!!”
“I was fortunate to stay here for 1 week to recover from a spinal surgery. The amazing managers and front desk staff checked in with me regularly — happy to bring anything I needed from Ice to water. This was my second stay this year here and the service/ experience/ rooms/ environment / and above all Staff are the best.”
“This was an exceptional stay — genuinely Aman-tier service at a Marriott property, which is not something I say lightly.
I called ahead to explain that I have progressive Parkinson's at 40, had been traveling hard, and needed to land and nap before an important 5pm meeting. Nathan was extremely responsive and offered me a very early morning check-in without hesitation or friction. This set the tone for my entire stay.
From the moment I arrived, every single staff member knew my name. The valet team was extraordinarily attentive to my disability — proactive and helpful, which is exactly the right instinct. I was upgraded to a beautiful room, had four guests up during my stay for a small gathering with exceptional room service. The entire experience was effortless.
Saodat at the front desk deserves her own paragraph. Every time I stepped out of the elevator she was at my side asking what I needed. Her responsiveness felt like a reflex not her job.
This was an epic stay. For the tier, it over-performed enormously. The highest performance I've experienced in the Marriott portfolio, and Im a lifetime platinum elite member. Thank you to Nathan, Saodat, the valet team, and everyone who made it what it was. I'm booked to return the next two weekends.
UPDATE — four more stays in and I want to add some names to the record:
Lisa at the front desk for her consistently warm presence. Neb for the Italian gin negronis. Jesus for the epic noon upgrade to a Villa— the walk-out shower with the giant slider overlooking the Hollywood Hills is genuinely inspirational. Alex and Omar from the guest experience team.
This property really feels unique within the Marriott brand. Lifestyle vibes, feels distinctly West Hollywood. Really is the best American Marriott service experience.”
“Amazing hotel with tons of history! Perfect location too! My wife and I stayed here during our trip to Hollywood and Beverly Hills. It is so centrally located that we walked almost everywhere. The hotel has so much history, and there are tons of things to do in the area. Even with so many places to stay, we will probably end up staying right back here when we come back!”
“Excellent boutique hotel near the strip. Close to many clubs and restaurants in West Hollywood. 24 hr room service and rooftop pool. Amazing food and drink menu.”
“The best hotel to stay at when in LA. Quiet residential area but very close to restaurants, groceries ( Trader Joe’s and Erewhon) and bars. Shopping is nearby too. Service is great from front of house employees, housekeeping and valet. The definitely deserve their Michelin.”

“An understated and wonderful experience complete with active rooftop parties, well made drinks and the kindest and inclusive vibe from all staff who works here. We go here every couple of months as we inevitably make our way into WeHo.”
“I see it as a part of music history and really like to staying in Jim Morrison's room - maybe the rooms weren't at tip top shape but the vibe and the convenience of w hollywood being at your fingertips was well worth it- the rooms were clean and acceptable.

“Room 817 was stupendous and had the best view ever!! I was able to do early morning rituals overlooking all of LA. It felt unreal. I cannot thank Boonie enough for giving me the birthday weekend I needed ?✨✨ and Stephanie was a pleasure to arrange it even further. Appreciate all your help with everything. It was a memorable stay! ?????”
“Howard and Augusto at the Kimpton La Peer Hotel were fantastic. They were both friendly and professional, and my car was brought out quickly every time—super smooth experience. They were also really helpful and made everything feel easy from the moment we arrived. Overall, the hotel was great, and their service definitely stood out.”
“I stayed here out of convenience on two different occasions. The location is perfect. Grocery stores, restaurants and a bank are within walking distance. I stayed here because it is close to Cedars Sinai where my loved one is currently a patient. The staff at the hotel was nice enough. You need to request housekeeping a day ahead. The rooms could use a deep cleaning, dusting and upgrades. The hotel has old-school carpet. I'm sure these are the reasons the hotel prices are so inviting. While the hotel could use upgrades, it definitely served it's purpose. I had a clean place to sleep and shower. There's a large mirror on the wall which is kinda cool. Each room has a small fridge and coffee maker.”
“Wow. What an incredible 2 night stay at the Sunset Marquis over Memorial Day weekend. I traveled with my husband and 9 month baby and it was the absolute perfect setup for my family especially with the separate room and access to the terrace. The property is lush with tons of greenery and shade - it truly felt like an oasis! I’ve stayed in many hotels and Sunset Marquis stands out as one of the best.
This a review of villa 1106. The room itself is beautifully updated and very clean. The villa has so much space and has everything that you need including a refrigerator, Nespresso machine, glasses, bathtub, shower, and lots of storage. Air conditioning worked flawlessly and was quiet. We were tucked away and in a perfect spot for baby to nap during the day and at night as it was very quiet and we didn’t hear any outside noises - thank you Brigette for finding us the perfect room.
Valet is prompt. Front desk is responsive. Housekeeping was very fast with whatever you needed. Everyone we engaged with at the hotel was professional and kind. The restaurant was fast and service was great (shout out to Ava & Robin). Very accommodating for our baby. Great location with lots of dining that is walkable nearby.
We are leaving feeling so rested and already thinking of our return trip. Thank you Sunset Marquis for a wonderful time!”
