“The older lady and the Jewelry counter very helpful. The bathrooms were very clean when I was there. I'm not sure if its the Christmas season but people in the store were happy, cheery and polite. “I really loved how convenient it was off the 405 freeway. It is a little smaller than some, but has a great selection of everything across the board. I really appreciate the great service. I always love the prices st this store because everything in life is just so expensive so it is a great way to save a lot of money. I always seem to run into my friends at th Maxx like everyone goes there yo shop so is pretty funny. Like one time I went yo one in Ruverside. I jyst do not have any friends there and some how I ran into a friend from LA Crescenta. That was pretty funny”

“This place is huge and offers a wide variety of stores for shopping a lot of really nice jewelry stores. Are there a lot of good places for your phone to get fixed and a lot of boutiques.”

“This is a useful stop when you’re already at Fashion Square and need clothes, shoes, cologne, makeup, gifts, or something for the house. I like having a full department store in the mall because it makes last-minute shopping a lot easier, especially when you don’t want to run all over the Valley.
Some parts feel a little older, and the experience can depend on how busy it is or whether you can find help, but overall it’s convenient and still a solid place to shop in Sherman Oaks.”

“This location is great in terms of selection and tonight, 3/25/2026, I experienced exceptional service from a young man named Lincoln. He was so sweet and kind and he could tell that I had a long day.
He gently engaged me and held a conversation while he checked me out. I always stop at this store after arriving in to LAX when I forget essentials or other things during my trip. I will definitely be back and I hope that Lincoln is still there. He went above and beyond and I appreciated his kindness and service when I needed it most after a long week of business travel.”
“Wow! A week ago, I stopped by the Macy's store in Culver City, for the first time since moving here last year. I was looking for a bed skirt.
Tonya in the linen department suggested I leave my contact, should she come across what I am looking for. And sure enough, she followed through with a call yesterday evening to say she has one.
Bed skirts are not easy to find. So, I appreciate her taking the time to be mindful in looking for what I had been looking for.”

“My Costco store for many years and the employees are great- parking can be a bit crazy but always available if you walk a little and avoid the hassle of competing with those wanting to park closer to the entrance. Gas station can be quite busy but if you’re not delayed by someone taking their time with their gassing up their car for whatever reason, the lines move efficiently, never waited longer than 5-10 minutes max.”

Which make it uncomfortable to shop or stand in line, On the flip side the manager was very accommodating with accepting my return which was a few days past the 60 days policy so I am grateful for that. They didn't have a lot of boys underwear in 5T or 6T but I'll order online once I get home.”

I had a wonderful customer service experience at the Hollywood Western Marshalls location and felt compelled to leave a review to highlight two outstanding associates: **Edith C. and Valerie R.**
I came in to do an exchange and was using my TJX Rewards for the first time. I initially thought the transaction would be simple—an exchange followed by a separate purchase using my credit card—but it turned out to be much more complicated. The system wouldn’t allow it the way I expected, required cash, and wouldn’t accept my TJX card, which meant the transaction had to be voided and refunded onto a gift card. It involved multiple steps and even required another associate to assist.
Despite all of this, Edith and Valerie were **exceptionally patient, calm, and kind** throughout the entire process. They never made me feel like I was holding up the line, never rushed me, and truly focused on resolving the issue correctly. Their professionalism and empathy stood out.
As a former TJX employee myself, I know firsthand how challenging situations like this can be, and I truly appreciated the grace and care they showed. Customer service like this feels rare these days, and when I encounter it, I believe it deserves recognition.

“The Baseline: For a department store the selection of goods must be good, have quality on the level equal to the type of establishment, good internal circulation, and a good check out payment procedure.
Service: All of the Marshal's staff I have ever interacted with in my 8 years of frequenting this Marshals location have been polite and helpful with all reasonable requests for assistance. I never have made an unreasonable request so I really can't compare against that.
Selection: Marshals has a great number of standard types of items readily available but it is not a consistent in specific products. AKA if you don't get it now it probably won't be there next time you come. That does make for a fun shopping experience to find new things.
Value: Some things have great reduced price value. Example: I bought Bones Coffee that retails at $19.99 at World Market that I bought for $8.99 at Marshals. You have to always look for the deals.”
