“Not sure why there are so few reviews here, I know I've left a couple over the years. I'm always impressed when I walk out the door. This is a model of how to run a business in my book. True, Tom may seem to be less than ideal. But I get why, he has thousands of parts there, and unless you know what you want, he can't help you. Do some research before you go so you can explain what you need. Know the size of the parts you want. If you don't know, take the part in. Take pictures. He will help you, but he's not able to unless you can help him. And don't go in acting like you know everything, he won't argue with you. He will give you what you ask for. I was impressed when he recognized me after I had been in for about 6 years . Now, on to the review: Been going here for at least 15 years, probably more like 20. I just recently discovered all AN fittings are not equal. The metal and the machining are what makes the parts, and you can rest assured both are top notch at Earl's. Many of the internet parts are made from inferior metals, and as a result they will fail or leak. Earl's primary business is with government contracts, meaning their quality is literally a life and death issue. You can find their hardware on a multi-million dollar plane used to defend your freedom. I have never had a leak or a failure of one of their products. The hoses they made for me have never leaked. Yes, you can buy cheaper fittings and hose. But if you want to be sure that it works, come to Earls. Pay a little more, or pay to replace it. I also can say I've never walked out of their shop without the part I've come for. They must have a crazy inventory. Keep up the good work there guys, you're doing it right!”

“If you don't want to go to Home Depot because it's a nightmare to park there you don't get any help waste the whole day, then go to Woods Ace Hardware. It is so conveniently located. There is always parking right by the entrance. No lines and you can get what you need and sometimes they have really good sales the people there are super sweet and very friendly and helpful! So no matter what direction you're coming from you're on sepulveda and Anza so you can easily get in and get out of there which is the best part! You can get what you need within 15 minutes rather than wasting your whole day trying to save money by going to Walmart or Home Depot. When you're working on a house you don't have time to drive far not have any help or be trapped in a parking lot. Plus it's right next to Dollar tree so you can do tons of shopping that's fast easy and convenient.”

“Let me tell you by no means is this an exaggeration. This is THE place for hardware in the U. S. of A. The fasteners available in this area was just outrageously impressive. You find things you need, you didn’t need, need in the future, heck, even in the past! They got U.S. Standard, coarse and fine. Metric, with finer threads on the more larger sizes, but practically almost any size you need for exported vehicles. Grade 8, Grade 5, STAINLESS STEEL (in metric and standard!), black alloy, all threads, nuts with flanges, castles, nylocks… you get the idea.With such a large assortment of bolts, you ask yourself, “How am I going to find what I need?” Well you can hold that question by asking their excellent staff! A very knowledgeable crew from head to toe that sure gives even better advice than what you’d get on that YouTube and Tiktok. They go above and beyond with assisting you and are very friendly, but please be patient! Sometimes I get in there and the employees are swamped with customers. Just goes to show how helpful they can be.Overall fantastic and tidy shop, but it could use a clean up and overall update to store shelves and what not but that’s asking for a lot. This store goes even beyond fasteners and sell fantastic equipment from drill bits, taps, dies, exquisite plumbing department and nice electric units.”
