“We had our first class today and I can say my toddlers enjoyed it a lot , the teacher was super welcoming , caring , friendly ,she has a great and perfect attitude, they teach accordingly to age , the building is big and has a lot of rooms , costumer service is perfect , so far as a mom I love it , and I register both of my kids today for the school year looking forward to register my older boy on music lessons , so far for me this is a 4 stars place because we been there just for one day Definitely I will update my review after a few months , the only thing I noticed is that the paint on the walls In their classrooms looks dirty there are some stains but maybe this doesn't bother other parents maybe just me , and I think would be great if the the room for toddlers look more kid friendly lol , my baby girl was nervous and scared and started cry when she walk in the classroom , maybe some ballet decorations for kids will be perfect to make them feel more attracted and safe to their classroom, but anyway I register them based on my first day I think would be a great experience for my kids.”

“We absolutely love Bayshore Co-Op and recommend it to anyone looking for a parent participation school. The location is beautiful, the little ones get lots of outdoor play & Ms. Cori is wonderful with children. Our son was very hesitant to start preschool and Ms. Cori was so gracious with him, helping him find activities that he liked and made him feel at home. I am so grateful for this little school by the beach.”

“We decided to enroll our daughter for her first Pre-K experience at Ocean View Preschool. The teachers here really do care about each child, and it shows. The quality of education is very hands on, play based and super educational. Our daughter has improved significantly in her vocabulary, and on her social skills with other kiddos. We are sad to leave Ocean View Preschool as we are moving out state. Nevertheless, our family is super thankful to the teachers and staff for being part of our daughter's first learning experience. The teachers are warm and welcoming, and the campus is designed for children to explore and play. There’s a great balance of structured activities and opportunities to explore independently. I love the fact that, unlike many preschools in the area, the school has a large, shady outdoor play yard where the kids can be in nature. It’s clear that thought, experience, and research on child development have gone into all the details. Each teacher has the flexibility to make her class unique and I feel like my children are genuinely loved and treated like individuals. Communication has been clear and timely, and whenever I have needed flexibility, I have gotten it. I feel like I have been part of a lovely community here, and I encourage anyone to tour and get to know this wonderful little school.”

“My child has been attending for about 6 months now and he has done so well here and he really enjoys his teachers here, it is always clean and well organized as well, and have helped immensely with potty training too. They have great programs and spend a good amount of time outside as well. They close at 5:30pm and my only wish was they were open a bit later or had an extended hour option for nights when you need to work late.”

“Our family would not be the same without our experiences and the community we have found at MBNS! Our oldest daughter began in their Toddler program and eventually graduated at the age of 5. We can not wait to enroll our youngest as soon as she is old enough. We are so fortunate that our daughter was able to develop here under the guidance of the incredible, compassionate, gentle and wise staff. Our daughter had the freedom to explore and interact with the indoor and outdoor campus in a way that was uniquely her own. “I went here from 1972 until 1981, from preschool to after school care. My 4 daughters went here as well as my nephews from 1984 to 1990 and from 1996 to 2008. I have such fond memories of all the teachers. I love them. The Ahrens family has created a safe environment. My children are all very successful and excelled in academics which I attribute to their time spent here in this loving but disciplined preschool. I only wish I lived closer so my grandchildren could get the same wonderful experience. I highly recommend this preschool. It is honestly the best in the area!! Hi Ms. Nancy!! And yes she’s the same preschool teacher I had!!”

“If I can protect my kids and delay some of the things school children are exposed to nowadays, I will try. This school still teaches values and faith. It's a great community of families, solid academics, wonderful faculty and caring administrators. We couldn't ask for more. The campus could definitely use some repaint and refreshing, but for the tuition costs vs the level of academics, it's a great deal. The academic grading scale in junior high is a bit high and academics are rigorous and some do struggle, but it's great preparation for high school. They also incorporate various opportunities for students to volunteer for both the school and community and provide activities to encourage leadership and mentoring skills. I would say "don't judge a book by it's cover". It's worth checking out.”

“My child is at launch pad learning and I must say out of all the daycares/preschools I could find, it checked off the majority of my boxes.- educational curriculum/no TVs- adequate outdoor time- diversity in students and staff- roomy, open classrooms- app to see daily activity and updates- positive ratings/reviews- hours - optional early drop off and late pickups- competitive tuition rates and assistance available- meals wasn’t even on my list but they provide those tooIt’s a lovely environment for the littles. All of the teachers are very kind, sweet, patient and always acknowledge my child by name - even those who aren’t the primary providers. Glad we found it. My child was already communicating quite well before starting so I’m excited to see how much he’ll develop as time goes on. He’s certainly improved socially, with his utensil skills, and his enunciation.”

“Savoir Faire has been an excellent preschool for our kids. The teachers are patient, creative, and supportive. The students learn the languages surprisingly well.Our kids have split their time between the French and Spanish classes. Madame Fanny in the French class feels like an extra grandparent for our kids because they have come to bond with her. She is incredible with the kids and has helped me improve my French as well. The Spanish teachers of Patty, Patricia, Jocelyn, Nancy, and others have also been truly wonderful. We love Savoir Faire.”

“What a gem of a preschool! So glad we found this school in 2015 and are sad we are wrapping up our time there. Ms. Josie, the director, has made such thoughtful and important changes to the school's facility to make it a safe, nurturing and engaging place for children. Many of her staff have worked there for years and their kindness and dedication to the children is so apparent. My children know they are loved.There is so much play space (indoor and out) and never a shortage of activities. From the garden yard to the bike yard to the playground to the reading nooks - there is always something to discover, lessons to learn and joy to find. My children learned so many important social skills - they've become confident and independent and remind me to eat my healthy food first (a saying during lunchtime at SJP). We are not Lutheran but appreciated that they teach love and acceptance and to celebrate differences.The classes are small, this is not a giant, impersonal daycare. We bonded with many of the families and feel like we're part of a true community.Tuition is reasonable and the hours are IDEAL for working parents.”

“They took care of our son from 9 months old to 2 years old. He had been somewhat traumatized at his previous daycare (crying every day at drop off and pick up), and yet he loved coming here since day 1. Bright Futures had just opened the infant room and so our son was only the second baby there. It was maybe a leap of faith but we immediately felt we could trust them with our baby. The room is brand new, clean, and organized. Director Tiffany takes extra care of the infant room and our baby was surrounded by loving teachers all the time. We are switching now because we want to be closer to home and not take the 710 every day, but at the new daycare, they were surprised to notice how well-socialized and well-mannered our son was. Obviously, they did a great job of teaching him social skills. Our son especially enjoyed the front yard where he could ride the tricycle for hours, the water days in the summer when they play in the water, and sometimes they would let him hang with the older kids which is proven to be beneficial for development. They use an app to communicate with parents so we would get pictures of him and updates every day. Also, they provide meals which is a huge help for working parents. Thank you thank you for taking care of our baby!”

“I love hickory tree, my son has learned so much. The teachers are caring and come up with fun art projects and activities. Mrs Rosie and Ms Brenda are great and truly care about the kids. My child went in not really grasping vocabulary and now he's speaking very clearly and expresses his happiness with words. Overall a great school.”

“Our family had a great experience sending our toddler to leap and bound academy Torrance campus, the school staff are the best, providing care and love to our son, he loved the school, enjoyed every second with his great teacher Ms Mitra, everyday they updated us with his school day and so many photos during the day , all the rest of the reachers are amazing, loving teachers ( dejghanne , Natasha , Mary , inoka, Jeong) I don’t want to forget any one! “We are so disappointed that we had to pull our kiddos out when we moved away!! Oakwood Academy is such a great school and I miss our kids going here dearly! The teachers are all great and very attentive and our kids learned SO much while they were there. Our barely 3YO was only able to spend about 6 months there before we left, but while we were there, she built so much confidence and learned so much from Ms. Tana, Ms. Jessie, and Ms. Noemi!Ms. Noemi, Ms. Jessie, and Ms. Rosa were my other kiddo's teachers and they're all so great! This school tries to get parents involved in various activities and our kids really enjoyed all the parties that the school threw. We have no complaints and would highly recommend this school to other families!”
