“Stayed in Yreka a few times. This is the best hotel, and just happens to be a great orice as well. Well appointed spacious rooms, nice granite/stone showers, good location, super quiet, and good staff.”

“EDIT** The new managers are working hard to renovate the hotel. I stayed again a few months ago and was beyond pleased with the changes. It will take time to complete all the renovations but the excellent customer service makes up for it. **Worst experience ever. I have stayed at this Best Western several times in the last 20 years and it has gone down hill. We were supposed to stay 9 days and left early. The first room had low water pressure, the second room was dirty. We had to change the sheets and make our own bed. We weren’t given a clean bed spread either. When we checked out, Gary was laying on the couch and said he was on a break. Told my husband to come back in 30 minutes. Unbelievable!!”

“Other than the a/c not being on and the room being a sweltering heat at 10 p.m., the service, cleanliness & room itself were very good. I'll look around before staying again, but the price was great!”

“We went to several other hotels and they had no rooms and we came here and the lady was super nice, the breakfast wasn't great though, there was some stale cinnamon rolls, and cereal there was milk and butter, he coffee was amazing though, the pool was dirty and I couldn't smell chlorine in the water which was concerning, once again the lady was super nice and apologized for that, and the room we had was on the bottom floor room 40, it was really nice and he air conditioner cooled off the room quickly but after it ran for a while it stopped working as well, it got really hot at night but it's california, he beds were comfy but I would bring your own pillow, he bathrooms were really nice, but kind of small for 3 people, but really not a problem, the TV didn't have a lot of good channels, at least for me, and surprisingly the room was really clean and had no bugs, and also one of the people we had with us we're standing outside a good distance from the door and they could hear us talking, the walls were not soundproof, also down the street was a bar which was a little concerning because in the middle of the night someone was screaming, but down the street there was a round table pizza, which had decent food, other then that I can't say much cause we stayed one night, also the locks on the door were pretty secure, and he chain lock was really flimsy, but the blinds worked pretty well, but I would come here again (great for last minute) it was really fun!
Rooms: the room we had was on the bottom floor room 40, it was really nice and he air conditioner cooled off the room quickly but after it ran for a while it stopped working as well, it got really hot at night but it's california, he beds were comfy but I would bring your own pillow, he bathrooms were really nice, but kind of small for 3 people, but really not a problem, the TV didn't have a lot of good channels, at least for me, and surprisingly the room was really clean and had no bugs, and also one of the people we had with us we're standing outside a good distance from the door and they could hear us talking, the walls were not soundproof.
Nearby activities: down the street was a bar which was a little concerning because in the middle of the night someone was screaming, but down the street there was a round table pizza, which had decent food, other then that I can't say much cause we stayed one night.
Safety: the locks on the door were pretty secure, and he chain lock was really flimsy, but the blinds worked pretty well, (bar across the road) heard people outside of the bar screaming, homeless people
Walkability: There was a food place down the street and down stores in close proximity to the hotel
Food & drinks: the breakfast wasn't great though, there was some stale cinnamon rolls, and cereal there was milk and butter, he coffee was amazing though.
Noteworthy details: the pool was dirty and I couldn't smell chlorine in the water which was concerning, once again the lady was super nice and apologized for that, also there was only one lady that we saw working there and she was super nice, and the pools locked up so you have to ask to go into he pool, also there's no one watching the pool.”
“Decent hotel overall, somewhere between good and very good (7.2/10). Stayed 1 night in August. Room size was good for one person, but I imagine would feel cramped with multiple people. Great bed, very comfy, with very good pillows. Bathroom is a good size. Shower is very good, and one where you can actually control the water pressure (generally with a bath/shower combo you can control the temperature whereas the pressure is one-size-fits-all). The towels are a little on the small side but smell really nice. TV was good, it had a scrolling guide, and the channel selection was fairly good. AC was adequate. Staff were very good. Breakfast was free but I didn't partake as the offering that day was so limited (for context I'm satisfied with a bowl of cereal or some toast). Parking was good. I would stay again, as for the price paid ($79 total) it was good value.”

“Just have to comment that the crew is absolutely amazing and goes above and beyond for their guests. Contu, Taylor, Michelle, Sharon, Jessica the entire crew is awesome and so very helpful.”
“Nice clean hotel, not fancy but clean.
Update: Still fabulous! Very clean, and this time we stayed in the disability room. It definitely seemed ADA compliant! All lotions were lower down, the door to the bathroom is large enough for a wheelchair, the shower could have a chair wheeled in, and there’s a shower chair!”
