“My significant other hates shopping, but this City Market made it pretty easy on him. Granted we were there at around 7PM on 10/26/2023. I've been here before, and the customer service has been good each go-round. The store is fairly organized and clean. I noticed some great deals on their Kroger branded items. They eased the inflation-induced budget a little. Not much, but a little. At night I noticed the lighting in the parking lot was okay. Could be brighter, but overall it seems to be a safe area. I like grocery shopping here far more than other places in Alamosa. Bring your own bags or gripe about being charged for plastic. Your choice.”
“I like the store. Usually clean and well stocked. The pharmacy is a plus. They did some updates which made finding stuff a little difficult at first, but you get used to it. Staff are ok. My interactions have always been great with above and beyond service. Sometimes some seem to be in a different frame of mind. Not rude or off putting. Just doing their thing sometimes.
My only complaint is the Deli. It's never staffed adequately. I have always had to wait 10 to 15 minutes for help, with no one else there in line. But the staff that are there are super friendly.
I usually do grocery pick up. I have had a few difficulties, but the staff make it right everything. The shoppers dont alway look at the additional notes, like when I order deli meat, a certain amount amd sliced a certain way. But I am grateful fornthe assist, so I just live with it.

“From 2014 to 2022, City Market was great. Best store in Colorado. They had some great people working there. Austin Velasquez, David Cole, Brian Wright, Colton Smith, just to name a few people. If you needed help finding something, they would take you right to it. They wouldn't just point in a general direction and run away. Today, the store is still nice, I didn't think that there needed to be another starbucks in alamosa, and I miss the salad/fruit bar in the deli. I hate that they took out the seating in the deli. I still like shopping there, but it just isn't the same.”

“O.k., there is a gentleman that is not personable but he is not rude either. He does his job. I'm fine with that, I'm not shopping at Macy's. I like most of their items and their packages are worth the price.”
