“My significant other hates shopping, but this City Market made it pretty easy on him. Granted we were there at around 7PM on 10/26/2023. I've been here before, and the customer service has been good each go-round. The store is fairly organized and clean. I noticed some great deals on their Kroger branded items. They eased the inflation-induced budget a little. Not much, but a little. At night I noticed the lighting in the parking lot was okay. Could be brighter, but overall it seems to be a safe area. I like grocery shopping here far more than other places in Alamosa. Bring your own bags or gripe about being charged for plastic. Your choice.”

“From 2014 to 2022, City Market was great. Best store in Colorado. They had some great people working there. Austin Velasquez, David Cole, Brian Wright, Colton Smith, just to name a few people. If you needed help finding something, they would take you right to it. They wouldn't just point in a general direction and run away. Today, the store is still nice, I didn't think that there needed to be another starbucks in alamosa, and I miss the salad/fruit bar in the deli. I hate that they took out the seating in the deli. I still like shopping there, but it just isn't the same.”

“I stopped by because my tire light came on . Nice man checked filled my tires hour later my light back on long story long I had ruptured my tire with a nail to boot . I chose to wait outside and I have to say I watched the nice man that checked me.in he was really good with all the people coming in . In particular he showed a lot of patience with an elderly gentleman. You don't see enough of people taking the time to be kind to everyone . Wal Mart today I appreciate you and your employees ..thank you ..whoever hired him made a good choice . I think his name was strohm?”

“When I was at this Safeway in Alamosa, CO, at around 1PM on 5/28/2023, there was a lot going my way. I get that Yelp is the end-all for complaints and 1-star reviews, but this place is no where near the bad ratings it is currently at. My daughters and I noticed with was clean and organized.Not too busy for a Sunday afternoon.Ample parking.My only complaint is the price for chips these days. Come on.. $5.49 for Funyuns? And $5.99 for Doritos? And $5.69 for Hot Cheetos with lime? I'll most likely be back again and again if a certain cowboy has anything to do with it.Thanks also to Jared for being such a friendly, quick cashier - and for the membership savings. Deuces.”
