“So I went to the Thornton location first this morning. Burn probably close to a hour of my life waiting around for a manager of the meat department (Sara). Never met her there. So I took my time down to the Arvada location. I waited over there too but man was it like night and day for customers service. I waited and ended up meeting a lead, not a manager but a lead. I forgot her name but super kind and helpful lady been there for over four years now. Wish I could remember her name she hooked me up knowing I was waiting awhile. The meet cutter was on break and it’s all good but I am really just glad some people just enjoy doing their best at jobs like that. That lady deserves as much as that company can offer her as an employee truly. Did above and beyond for me. Love this store. I’ll probably burn the miles to come back instead of going to one that doesn’t care at all.”

“I was in desperate need of new glasses, but I am quite challenged when it comes to selecting the right frames. Therefore, I arrived at Costco's Optical eye center early, hoping to receive some assistance. Fortunately, I met Tess, who was perhaps the most pleasant and professional customer care representative I could have wished for. She dedicated her time to help me try on multiple frames and answered all of my questions. She also helped me save $200.00. Tess was simply fantastic at her job. “I frequent this place quite often. It is conveniently located right off of the highway and easy to get to. It is also in the same parking lot as a lot of other popular stores, which is great because then you can get a lot of shopping done all at once. I love that they have their own gas station as well! As of yesterday, regular unleaded fuel was down to $2.39 a gallon. Most of the other places in the Arvada/Golden area are $2.79-$2.99 a gallon. When you walk inside, an attendant greets you and offers you a cart. Just like Costco, you show them your membership card before you can get in. They have a vision center, a tire center, a jewelry section, and a pharmacy. They have a large variety of offerings and I can almost always find exactly what I am looking for. Their prices are lower than Costco for the same items, which is really nice. The store is organized and clean as well. They do not have as many items as Costco, but I have always been satisfied with what they do offer. I also have a Costco card just because I do like the option of shopping at both places though. They make some really beautiful desserts at a great price and have lots of fresh pre-made meals you can just heat up for a convenient dinner. Sam's Club is turning into more of a self-checkout type of place which is disappointing. They always have more self-checkout lanes and maybe 1 or 2 cashier lanes open. Unless you grab an empty box along your shopping trip or bring your own large bags, all of your purchased items will go directly back in your cart. I do like how Costco at least will box your items up at checkout so you can easily put them in your vehicle. When I shop here it is never overly busy, which I like since it makes it quick to get in and out of there. Overall, I like shopping here and saving money by purchasing in bulk.”

“I give this store 4 stars because they are the gold standard every grocer should follow. From their meat selection to their produce King Soopers is the gold standard. This review is for the King Soopers on Wadsworth and 80th in Westminster CO.Most of my complaints on Yelp are due to young people and this one is no different. Young people refuse to do more than their asked and if given any liberty they take advantage, The guy I'm about to describe probably works his butt off so I hope he chalks this up to experience.I had surgery on a foot an need to get around with the help of electric carts the store offers. I sat down on one and the seat was covered in water so I was now sporting a wet keister. I found the cart retrieval staff and told him. He responded it was someone else's job to clean them. I told him that he navigated the cart all the way in and parked it as ready to use and now I was wet. He said "yep" and walked away. After shopping I returned my cart only to notice the cast seat was still covered in water. I got the manager and he wiped it offering "They shouldn't be outside any way"..seriously parents, there's got to be a better way. Teach your children to not hesitate going the extra mile..These are the people who will be taking care of us when we are old and feeble..”

“I am beyond grateful to the pharmacist working tonight, I have long Covid and had to quit my job for now, so I'm in the process of getting new insurance. I worked with a broker and got scammed, so I had to start the process over entirely. I ran out of a very important medication a few days ago, and feel so sick. I won't have coverage with my new insurance until March 1st. The medicine out of pocket is over $700. I calculated how many pills I would need, but then the pharmacist said she had some things she could do with Good RX and coupons, and brought if down to $122!!!! She literally saved my life! “Not to sure why the ratings are so low but this place is awesome the people are caring they do auto refill bc for sure I wouldn't remember to get my meds refilled until I was out, plus if my doctor needs to resubmit my prescriptions they do that for me, if there's a Pre Authorization that needs to be done they handle between the doctor and the insurance. “I wanted to update my review because I think it’s important to recognize the people who truly go above and beyond. I had been struggling for a while and finally reached out for help, but then a prior authorization was needed from my prescriber before my prescription could be filled. I was feeling overwhelmed, but Savannah went out of her way to help. She followed up with me about the authorization, kept me updated about when the medication would be available, and even reached out to nearby pharmacies to see if there was a way I could get it sooner rather than waiting another day. I know this pharmacy is often very busy, and many reviews mention longer wait times. But after my experience, I wonder if part of that is because some employees are taking the time to truly help people instead of just moving them through the line. It means a lot when someone in a busy pharmacy takes extra time to care and advocate for a patient. Savannah’s kindness and effort made a stressful situation much easier, and I’m grateful for her going the extra mile. Thank you, Savannah! I shop at this Walgreens frequently. Annie is always working and always going above and beyond. If I moved I’d continue coming to this location, because of how hard working Annie is.”
