“I wish I got the name of the pharmacist tonight because she was a sweetheart. She was so empathetic. They are always so busy and she didn't act rushed and offered to spend time answering questions if I had any. That's how I remember going to the pharmacy used to be. Hoping this gets passed along to her.”

“I frequent this place quite often. It is conveniently located right off of the highway and easy to get to. It is also in the same parking lot as a lot of other popular stores, which is great because then you can get a lot of shopping done all at once. I love that they have their own gas station as well! As of yesterday, regular unleaded fuel was down to $2.39 a gallon. Most of the other places in the Arvada/Golden area are $2.79-$2.99 a gallon. When you walk inside, an attendant greets you and offers you a cart. Just like Costco, you show them your membership card before you can get in. They have a vision center, a tire center, a jewelry section, and a pharmacy. They have a large variety of offerings and I can almost always find exactly what I am looking for. Their prices are lower than Costco for the same items, which is really nice. The store is organized and clean as well. They do not have as many items as Costco, but I have always been satisfied with what they do offer. I also have a Costco card just because I do like the option of shopping at both places though. They make some really beautiful desserts at a great price and have lots of fresh pre-made meals you can just heat up for a convenient dinner. Sam's Club is turning into more of a self-checkout type of place which is disappointing. They always have more self-checkout lanes and maybe 1 or 2 cashier lanes open. Unless you grab an empty box along your shopping trip or bring your own large bags, all of your purchased items will go directly back in your cart. I do like how Costco at least will box your items up at checkout so you can easily put them in your vehicle. When I shop here it is never overly busy, which I like since it makes it quick to get in and out of there. Overall, I like shopping here and saving money by purchasing in bulk.”

“I cannot say enough positive things about this place. Julia spent time with me and really listened to me and the concerns I had and made recommendations based on our conversation. I can't remember the last time someone was so patient, relatable and responsive to me when talking about my health. Your knowledge was immense and gave me confidence. Thank you for your time and for serving the community with great patient care. I look forward to being a returning customer for a long time.”

“The pharmacist tonight was very helpful and educated on my meds, when asking her what muscle supplements to take for working out..she has also been very nice Everytime I've come to get my meds..thank you.”

“Very kind and prompt. COSTCO prices are always significantly lower than cost of medications through my insurance. I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate these wonderful people and the services they provide”

“I found this store to be neat and clean. They are stocked up with a lot of items for the holidays. There is nice winter clothing for the whole family with good prices.. I was able to find the broth starter that I like that is not carried at several of the other Sam's Clubs.”

“Ward Road Pharmacy work with my family since 2003, medical supplies, medical equipment and medicines, they are exceptional helpful, I do not need to be worried with awful services in another pharmacies.”

“The folks here are the absolute best! Although it’s in a big box store, the care, concern and one on one customer service from all of the pharmacists and techs is amazing! Almost like going to a pharmacy of yesteryear. They go above and beyond to help. The prices are also much less than other large chains like Walgreens or CVS. I used to think if you had insurance it was the same price across the board - that it didn’t matter where you picked up your meds from, the price would be the same. That is simply not true and Sam’s Clubs prices are amazing. Also - you don’t have to be a member to utilize their pharmacy.”

“I've been using this location for years because it's convenient and has drive thru.I know most of the pharmacy staff well. Ben, David, Maddie are always great to deal with. My prescriptions are always filled in a timely manner and I'm usually able to pick them up within a few minutes of getting notification they're ready. My only complaint is the ever changing pharmacy hours. And also the drive thru being closed when staff is on duty. I use the drive thru because it's easier on me so I don't have to take my wheelchair in and out of my truck.”

“Love this pharmacy! Great service, friendly and knowledgeable staff who really took the time to listen and understand my concerns and needs with my prescriptions. I have so many drug allergies/sensitivities that are always a concern, but I truly feel like I am in good hands after talking to the staff at SCL Pharmacy. Thank you!!”

“This is the best pharmacy and pharmacy team that I've had experience with since I moved to Colorado 5 years ago. Katelyn and her team always go above and beyond, making time to answer any questions, assisting with finding the best prices and being patient and compassionate regardless of how busy they are. I am grateful to have a pharmacy/pharmacy team I can trust; thank you!”

“I think the people who gave one star must be the privileged type. Every time I go there the service is fantastic and friendly and they always ask if I have any questions. They even recommended the good rx card they sell. It saves more than insurance on all of my medications.”

“I agree with a previous reviewer, the store may be lackluster, but the pharmacy is fantastic. I have tried several KS pharmacies in the area and they are mostly pretty bad. Slow to fill and apathetic service at best. Since we switched to this location our refills have been lightning fast and they are always friendly and professional. They under-promise and over-deliver. I'm very impressed and thankful.”

“I give this store 4 stars because they are the gold standard every grocer should follow. From their meat selection to their produce King Soopers is the gold standard. This review is for the King Soopers on Wadsworth and 80th in Westminster CO.Most of my complaints on Yelp are due to young people and this one is no different. Young people refuse to do more than their asked and if given any liberty they take advantage, The guy I'm about to describe probably works his butt off so I hope he chalks this up to experience.I had surgery on a foot an need to get around with the help of electric carts the store offers. I sat down on one and the seat was covered in water so I was now sporting a wet keister. I found the cart retrieval staff and told him. He responded it was someone else's job to clean them. I told him that he navigated the cart all the way in and parked it as ready to use and now I was wet. He said "yep" and walked away. After shopping I returned my cart only to notice the cast seat was still covered in water. I got the manager and he wiped it offering "They shouldn't be outside any way"..seriously parents, there's got to be a better way. Teach your children to not hesitate going the extra mile..These are the people who will be taking care of us when we are old and feeble..”

“Very friendly and super helpful. For as stressful a job as that can be, everyone always seems to be pretty pleasant. My only complain is that we usually have to wait for the meds to be delivered and that can take a few days.”

“I, too, am really surprised by the negative reviews. Sure...our cashier wasn't overly friendly, but she did her job. I loved the layout of the store, it appeared clean, there was a great variety of food. I seriously prefer it over the King Soopers we've been going to. I thought the prices were decent, honestly. My husband and I know that we won't find any grocery stores that offer the prices we had at the Woodmans' Markets we shopped in Wisconsin. We will definitely frequent this store.”

“They are always prompt and courteous. The cost was more than I could pay. I found it $100 less at Costco, but King soopers was able to beat that price. With the cost of groceries skyrocketing along with heating the house, etc we are learning to do without so many things. The first time this has happened since we were newly weds almost 60 years ago.”

2.3 Poor10 Reviews

“Well-lit, usually always clean (if not, spills are generally cleaned up pretty promptly), decent selection. Wish the staff were more "eager" to help customers, every time I've asked for help I'm generally "nonchalantly" pointed in the basic direction of what I need. (Rather than someone actually accompanying me to find something after I've told them I've been searching for a certain item for an extended period of time.) Either way, generally easy store to navigate.”

“I am writing a review for a specific employee at this location. I don’t know his name, but the new pharmacist with a beard that has some white streaks in it is a DOLL. I had the most pleasant interaction with him today. He needs a raise and he needs to stay forever please.Previously I’ve had consistent unpleasant interactions with pharmacists at this location. I keep coming back because it’s so close to my house. Now I’m excited to come back knowing I’ll have a really nice transaction. It makes a huge difference. Thanks, new guy! :)”

“One of the employees at this location is so wonderful. Her name is Lisa and she works in the cosmetic section. She is so kind every time we go in. She truly stands out as an exceptional person. She's so sweet to my teenage daughters and helps them find the right makeup for them. Lisa is so sweet we love going in just to say hi. If I had a business I'd hire Lisa! She's wonderful.”

“I picked up a new prescription and it was my first visit to this Walgreens. The older lady with the Walker assisted me and she was so through about getting my information and updating the system. She really had good customer service skills.”

“I've had to call the pharmacy twice for two different (and unrelated) prescription mix-ups, and on both occasions, I needed the medication the same day.The pharmacists up front transfer me to a backend pharmacist (or logistics?) in the back and these folks have worked their magic for me twice - both times resulting in my medication being available within 3 hours.Thank you for the customer obsession and service!”

“This location is busier than most local Walgreens. I guess with it being right off Sheridan and adjacent to a King Soopers it gets more foot traffic. I think most Walgreens customers just pop in and out. Don't think I've ever seen one absolutely slammed with customers though. Small fragrance section. You can buy the usual over the counter medicines as a Target, Safeway, or King Soopers. You could do a full grocery shop here but that would probably cost you a second mortgage. If you want to grab an ice cream, bag of sour patch kids, or a red bull this is a reasonable option for sure. Christmas or birthday cards? Check. Toys for kids? Check. Toys for pets AND treats? Check and check. A regular one stop shop where you can even get a passport photo taken. Film developed. And packages delivered?! It's not super common, yet. But I've had band merchandise delivered here. It was cheaper than to my house for some reason so I said why not. Stopped in and have them my ID and my hoodie was delivered easy peasy. I guess to cut down on commute time or carbon output some companies are delivering to one central spot and allowing people to pick up said items as their leisure. This location like most has a pharmacy with a walk up counter as well as a drive through option. They also offer Covid testing via the drive through but not as many test options as other nearby Walgreens. Other locations offer rapid and PCR testing and you can register online the same as you would for in person vaccines. Generally a speedy checkout with a cashier. Always employees stocking shelves and they'll ask if you need assistance finding anything or finding you name brand or a comparable product. Thanks for taking care of us Walgreens!”
