“Our A/C stopped working in one of the hottest weeks of 2018. We called around to several Heating and Cooling businesses and only had two phone calls back. King Star Heating and Air called us back the same day and sent Benny out to inspect our A/C. It turned out that it was very old and had been on it's last leg for a while. He gave us an estimate for a new A/C with and was able to get us scheduled for install the very next day for a great price. I couldn't believe it! The guys that came out were great and so kind. Benny even stopped by on the install date to make sure everything went smoothly. King Star Heating and Air exceeded our expectations and gave amazing customer service. They made follow up phone calls to make sure that things were working well and that the crew took care of our needs. I am so happy we were able to work with such a great company. I would recommend them to anyone!”

“Big chains frequently receive bad reviews, largely because of staffing issues and trickle-down effect (issue) related to those issues. I wanted to take a minute to give some much needed praise to the management team at the Aurora Home Depot #1501 and Sedgwick, their claims management company. Exactly one week ago I backed my big ol' pickup truck into a parking space just like I've done thousands of times before. From the view of my backup camera I could see that there was a tree just behind the curb of my spot, what I didn't see was the tree branch that protruded over and into my parking spot...then I heard the sound of glass shattering and knew that could only mean one thing. The very cool all-glass rear door of my extended-height topper must have hit something...but what? I could see the tree a safe distance from my rear bumper in my camera, I was perplexed. This is where the "picture is worth a thousand words" saying comes into play. Either Home Depot or Sedgwick could have said "you backed your truck into a tree and think it's our fault?" Rather, they both saw their liability in the incident and ponied up to pay the roughly $1K it's going to cost me to replace the rear door. Thank You!”
“I hope management is reading this review because the 5 stars is only for your team members and 0 stars for your self checkout terminals.
Just had the most ridiculously frustrating checkout experience that caused my two item checkout to turn into a more than 30 minute ordeal. The machines kept freezing, so I had to wait around while the computer and credit cards terminal rebooted. Then I was sent over to customer service to get more help.
I had to redo my checkout multiple times. I was finally able to get my order through and get my receipt, but then the cash box wouldn’t open. So I had to wait around again while they were trying to figure out how to open the cashbox. Someone finally came to get it open but not a single person apologized from management for the inconvenience. Really?
Huge shoutout to Ismael who stayed with me from start to finish to make sure this was resolved. Please give him a raise or I will poach him away to my office because he is the sweetest person ever.”

“Needed a replacement bulb for my kitchen hood. Its an odd one, and honestly I was dreading wandering around a big box store hoping I found the right thing. David approached me just 2 steps in the door..I showed him the bulb I had brought with me, and off we went! He was eager to help, and even explained the differences in some of the bulbs so that next time I will know just what to get. Plus he was very personable and fun to talk to. Definitely will be visiting again soon ?”
