“It is so uncomfortable when they tour in the gym. Like I’m trying to get stronger and there’s some random people just popping up and watching me. Makes me uncomfortable. Plus they raised the price by 100 for next year! Pretty good place tho besides that.”

“Just today I contacted the reception about a critical issue in my apartment and they sent a maintenance team member very soon afterwards and the issue was solved (thank you very much Gabe!!). This is one of the things I really like about living here. I can always rely on being helped when I need it urgently. I also like that it is quiet, close to all necessary shops, has great amenities, and I feel safe here. Every staff member I had contact with has been very kind and helped me with any concerns (thanks Jessica, Katie, and everyone else!). Based on my personal experience I am very happy to recommend the Griffis!”

“I would say that the building complex has a lot of amenities which include ping pong tables, washers, dryers, study rooms, and pool tables. The only thing is that there is noises that can be easily heard from the room which is situated next to us.”

“With a fantastic location near the University, and great staff, I've been satisfied with my time living here. The complex is located within waking distance of a shopping center, the Bound and Stampede bus lines, and a couple BCycle stations. Just outside that area is the 29th street mall, the university, and a connection to the Boulder Creek Trail. On the staff, those at the front desk are great! Though they are very, very busy, and a lot is out of their control, they always try to respond the best they can.On another note, I will say that it was initially a bit of a mess coordinating move-outs when construction started (hence my original negative review). Now that the dust has settled, and construction is moving more orderly, these issues have passed. This complex was made in the 40s, so there's some obvious signs of age that I hope are remedied in the remodeled rooms.Overall, the Kensington Apartment Homes gives you close access to a lot of good stuff, especially if you're a student. If you can take the price, then I reccomend it.”

“I've been living in their apartments for two years, and I have been satisfied with my experience. I believe they have worked to improve their quality of service and apartments. The area is nice, and quiet, and literally a walk or a bike ride to any part of the town that you wish to go. I'm a walk away from the creek and bike path, trails, grocery stores, places to eat, and pearl street, and just normal people and college students live here. Homeless people go through the trash often so keep anything you don't want a homeless person seeing out of the trash, and put things in there you expect to give to them, but we're in the dead center of town and it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make because they don't really bother me. As far as the people in the office, they're human beings that have worked there for years. A good rule of thumb, is if you smile at them, they will smile back at you. Don't go taking your frustrations out on them because your life has problems because it will just make everyone's life worse. Every problem that I've ever had, if I've approached them in a kind manner, it's been dealt with right away. I've been confrontational with them in the past and they're likely to reflect that, so just take that as a word of caution. I don't think there is a better value in town personally, or almost anywhere for that matter, so you may need to make some slight sacrifices. You will sometimes be able to hear people just living their lives, like walking above or below you, maybe low talking, or smells of food here and there, but if you can handle those minor things, and you like a very quiet neighborhood that's beautiful, is at the center of everything, and is an amazing value for all that it has to offer, I'd like to welcome you and enjoy your stay.”
