“This elegant European market is tucked into an unobtrusive, L-shaped space sandwiched between Restaurant Olivia and a Starbucks at the very busy intersection of Downing Street and Alameda Avenue. You must be driving west on Alameda to access the parking lot. There is a large sign there.
You can enter the market from the main entrance facing Alameda or from the back entrance off the parking lot. The front of the store has a long wall of imported groceries and a bakery counter offering breads, pastries, quiches, fresh sandwiches (on baguette, croissant, or pretzel bun), soups, salads, and a wide variety of imported chips and drinks.
There's a huge cheese cooler and lots of chilled, grab-and-go items. A table offers some kitchenware and gifts. A seating area is provided by the parking lot entrance.
I'm on the mailing list which has offered a series of food specials and pop-up events. I was enticed in last weekend by a pop-up cassoulet special. I arrived to find a tent at the edge of the parking lot, sheltering a huge propane wok. The white beans, sausage, and pork belly were gently simmering with a wonderful aroma. What a treat!”
“This place is amazing! Seems to always have what I need. The prices are fair and they have a great selection of produce, groceries, frozen foods, and household supplies while remaining small and convenient. On my last trip I got mint, cucumber, limes, bread, beans, bananas, and diapers for less then $30”
“TJ's has great products and unbelievable prices on their flowers. This location is usually extremely busy however, and parking can be a real challenge. Street parking a block east on 7th will usually do in a pinch.”
“Wide variety Chinese, Hispanic, African originated foods and household items. Reasonably priced. Well-displayed merchandise and clean aisles. Will come back again instead of going to the other ones over on the west side.”

“Clean, well stocked and organized. Friendly staff, definitely makes shopping a lot better. Big selection of everything from frozen foods, to produce to medicine. Prices are good if you already try to get the better organic stuff elsewhere. Don't forget your bags but if you do they have boxes you can use.”

“Clean and tidy, fully stocked. Everything was in order and service at the register was friendly. I would shop here more often if I lived nearby. They had all sorts of holiday treats and cute little stocking stuffers. They also had a lot of good oil options and coconut milk choices in the baking section. Parking is free and there are plenty of spaces.”

"Sprouts is my favorite supermarket to find fresh and healthy products at affordable prices. The quality of their fruits and vegetables is excellent, always fresh and at a good price. In addition, they have a wide variety of organic products, natural foods and options for special diets such as keto, gluten-free and vegan.
The atmosphere in the store is nice and clean, and the staff is always ready to help with a smile. I also love their selection of bulk products, perfect for buying nuts, spices and cereals more economically and without so much packaging waste.

“I wanted to give this place five stars, All the employees here are pretty friendly and helpful. I’ll except for the manager for the vitamins. Me and another lady needed help, in fact we are trying to help each other. When the manager of the vitamin department came over, she acted like we were bothering her and it seemed so bothered that she had to put a box down to help us. When I asked her what she would recommend, She was very rude and was saying well I don’t know what you want when I had just stated what I was looking for. She did the same to the other lady who needed help. This is probably one of the greatest encounters I’ve had with someone, And if she hate your job that much I think she probably shouldn’t be working there, especially in a customer facing position. She would be better off in the back not talking to anyone, Very negative energy and I definitely won’t be going Back there to ask about vitamins! Associates in the vitamin section in Northfield are a lot more friendly!”

“I'm kinda bummed this location is closing. I enjoy their grab and go food and bulk items. Plus, everyone who works there is extremely friendly and they care for the safety of their customers. Yesterday when there was gun fire down the road, security and staff made sure everyone was protected and safe. Even if it was a precaution, it's better to be safe and I really appreciate that. “Amazing family owned Polish market. Been patrons for years. They make you feel like family & have awesome products. Will even order for you if you request. Prices aren't terrible for the quality you receive. My go-to meat market & everything Polish. Wonderful fresh frozen cakes (I know someone in the fam bakes them) & kabanash. Have to control myself when I walk in there ;) Watch out for their hours though, they close early w/ some days off.”
