“Quick, fast, and painless rental process. Compared to Uhaul, there was a lot more selection and availability to rent a truck and car dolly. Thank you, Penske, for taking one less worry out of my move! The truck was ready to go and had no issues during my trip. Just note that if you get a large truck, you'll limit yourself to truck-stop fuel. You are not going to get in and out of a regular gas station (easily). Check height limits and fuel stops with Rand McNally to make sure you fit under bridges and parts of town so you don't break things.”
“Forget Uhaul. This company is probably the easiest and way cheaper than. I was in a U-Haul for a month n spent 1800. ?? this truck process was so easy. When you get to the location of the truck you start snapping pics. After you send the pics they unlock the doors from a desk in another state????? this blew my mind. With that technology how do peeps still get locked out of their vehicles? Keys were inside and next step is taking pics of the inside. After that you snap gas/mileage n then your on your way. ZERO HUMAN INTERACTION!!!!!!! My kind of place. I didn’t realize the specs on the size cuz I’m special and customer service went beyond out of their way to cancel current and get me in a bigger one. Thank you ladies for going above and beyond for me, made life so easy that day. Can’t thank fluid enough, wish I knew before I got taken by Uhaul’s unsettling prices.”

Clean.Don't listen to the people who say "Don't Rent from U-Haul on Colfax". Because the trucks are clean, and run great. They are also very understanding of your needs! They also sell propane tanks, and fill propane tanks as well.When you rent a Truck, Make sure you do a quick walk around for any possible damages. “U-Haul has problems sometimes, but my U-Box experience was flawless, especially on the Denver warehouse's end. Alexandrea and the rest of the warehouse crew were all courteous, helpful, and prompt. Literally could not ask for better staff.All in all, I got a small apartment worth of stuff (including a fragile old china/curio cabinet) from NJ to CO, safely and conveniently, for ~$1500 total. Estimates for other options ranged from $2500 to $4500.This includes having the box dropped at a house in NJ, picked up a few days later, arriving in Denver in about one week, and then making several trips to the Denver warehouse to unload. (They have multiple options for delivery but for my situation it was easiest to just go to the warehouse.)A couple suggestions if you are thinking about using a U-Box:1. If you have a tight deadline for the container to arrive, you may be playing with fire, as the transit time likely varies. I didn't have a pressing need for anything in the box (I can live without a china cabinet for an extra week), so that removed a lot of stress/uncertainty.2. When packing the box, consider that it is going to get fork-lifted multiple times. If you've seen a professional operate a fork-lift, you have a sense of the kind of acceleration your load will experience. There are tiedown points all over the inside of the box, so use them. Follow the loading instructions or ask someone who knows before you close up your box for shipping.3. Get a combination padlock for the box so that keys don't have to be shipped cross-country too.So basically if you load properly and don't have to stress about transit times, U-Box is a great option. And once it gets to the Denver warehouse it is in very good hands.”

Parker was the young man that helped us. His customer service skills were on point. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We realized our brake lights were not working so we had no light for the trailer. He gave us a couple fuses and showed us how to hardware the trailer lights. Thank you Parker! “This is a gas station location. There is not a separate window for the truck rentals. The only customer working that day was able to get me on the phone with his supervisor who was able to get me out of there in under an hour. Customer service seems to have improved but I would not recommend this location if they are busy.”
