“Al is truly old-school — a man who gives his word and stands by it, which is rare these days. I brought in my vintage Dana 60 and within minutes they had the rear end apart inspecting the carrier and clutches. Instead of trying to sell me parts I didn’t need, they were completely honest and told me the clutches were still in great shape and just needed to be soaked and reassembled.
They called Tuesday afternoon saying it was finished and even came in under the estimate. A day-and-a-half turnaround with almost no notice is incredible service. Honest, fast, and knowledgeable — I’ll absolutely be coming back for any rear-end work and highly recommend them.”

“I have been taking my car to German Motors for several years. I found them after I had less-than-stellar experiences at the local Mercedes dealerships. I love this place, everyone is always so friendly and professional…I mean, the professionalism, cleanliness of the shop, organization, communication, and convenient use of technology, is right up there with that of a high-end law firm or a luxury hotel. This isn’t just some mechanic’s shop, this is a well-run, high service organization that treats its clients with respect and care. I love that they have a female service writer. Victoria is no nonsense, knowledgeable, and always knows what’s going on with your car and your service. They are always spot on with their estimates, including the amount of time it will take to complete repairs. I also appreciate that they seem fair with their pricing…I’ve had them quote work, and even though I’m slow (sometimes 1+ years) in scheduling the work, the pricing is consistent…which tells me they’re not just doing gratuitous price increases every year. I have lots of nice things to say about Zack and his team, from the estimate to the follow up, they always deliver consistently, fairly, and professionally.”

“I showed up 10 minutes until closing, needing a tire- badly. They still took the time to walk me through ALL of my options. When I did decide, there wasn’t any grumbling from the guys about “being closed” or anything else. They all jumped in and gave me the fastest mount, balance (and even found a bent wheel I had and took the time to not only notify me, but also made sure to put it on the rear to minimize vibration), and purchase a girls ever had. Ever!! I got a sticker to remind me when to rotate (honestly, so helpful!), warranty paperwork and everything- all done by 5:39 pm. (Under an hour!). They are great!! I will come here for all of my tire and alignment needs!! Thank you!”
“Hi, I needed an oil change and had automotive engine trouble and took my vehicle to Colchin Automotive. They found a loose hose and reattach it which solved the problem and then only charged me for the oil change. Honest company!!!!”

“OK, I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a tire shop faster than them. I had a flat tire I guess with the nail in it I pulled up and I tell you within three minutes they fixed it and I paid and I left three minutes is not an exaggeration. This place is awesome and very courteous and polite.”
