I was wanting to close a CU account and after calling my CU and not being able to do it I was directed to go to a shared branch location - Rocky Mountain Law Enforcement FCU. I arrived with all my paperwork and was so lucky to have Deb, Mindy and Stephanie help me. It took a lot of work and effort and they jumped in and made it happen with smiles, kindness and expertise. I could not have been happier! If I would have qualified I would have joined. I cannot imagine a better group of people to represent the credit union philosophy of people helping people. “I have been using Northern Trust for at least 35 years. They have been protecting my assets ever since me opening my account. My husband who was a security specialist with IBM was particularly impressed with how they operated. When I had a particularly bad experience with another bank losing my loan payment they showed proof of my paying. This is one of the oldest banks in the country and survived the horrible crash of the 20's. I will Continue to Trust them with my funds.”

Tyler at this location (Union) always goes above and beyond and makes sure I’m always taken care of quickly. He is prompt and reliable and that is huge, as I use this bank for my business banking. Even though there is a location closer to my house, I will go out of my way to drive to this location specifically because Tyler is so great to work with. “I called customer service @4pm, a heavy phone traffic time of day, and Alex answered after the first ring. After I recovered from what is unusual banking behavior, I asked him about their overdraft protection, it being Christmas and Birthday season in my family, and he explained they have a better, more economic program called Reserve which I was interested in, so he sent me along to that department. After holding briefly, I realized I wanted to do this another time, in person, so hung up. He called me back! I've been with Chase for years, and switched recently because I wanted a local bank without a checkered ethical past, and so accepted their offer for switching. 1st Bank is the next level of personal service, real connection and authentic concern for the best interests of customers who are challenged by money management, because of how fairly they construct their products. Also, really nice people.”

“Carlo my personal banker was extremely helpful in opening an account. I was referred by radio and hadn't been able to get into lobby, however I called in and was greeted graciously. The process was fast and painless. They also make change for the fortune 500 company down the street on occasion. I would recommend understanding terms, don't let your balance go negative or opt out of overdraft, set up savings coverage. Because even if you cover the debits w credits it triggers their over draft protection.”
