“What a wonderful place to bank! I went in this morning to open a power checking account and both the wonderful woman at the front desk and Daniel were so very kind and patient. Daniel explained everything in great detail but never once made me feel like he was “mansplaining” banking to me - which I experience a lot as a young woman! I cannot recommend this bank and branch enough! Thank you for what you do! 🐕🐱”
“I received terrific service from Michael Hamilton at Columbia Private Trust today. Michael was very helpful and was able to provide me with guidance on how to best proceed with a serious issue I have been dealing with. I have a private placement investment in an IRA that has became worthless. However, the original founder of the of the investment has refused to declare the investment worthless, despite the fact he is on trial and the company has gone into receivership. Because the investment is in an IRA, I am being forced include it for IRA valuation and distribution purposes. Michael provided me with great guidance on how I should proceed.”

My family she is an elderly has been taken advantage by at least a couple of people who pretended to be business partners and also a contractor that was charging her a lot and repeated checks for the same work . Ashlynn & Aura, Dylan has been great in REALLY TAKING CARE OF MY ELDERLY family / friend by blocking false checks and sending authorities to check on her about those crooked partners! “First, let me say that I have Armed Forces Bank, which I guess is owned by Academy Bank. Normally it’s a big pain to withdraw cash once a month from the account I’ve had since basic almost 20 years ago. They usually have to get a manager.
But the woman working this morning at open (2026.05.09) was pretty kick ass and efficient. Take care of that one and keep them around. 👍”

“I've been with UMB for many years, and all of their staff has always been respectful, helpful, and effective at meeting my expectations. I recently had a hacker gain access to my email, and through it, they managed to register a device to my online banking account, which was really scary. Fortunately, they did not get into my account because I had 2-factor-authentication set up through my phone number. As an extra precaution, UMB put my online banking on hold, and my account on fraud alert. They also had me set up all new accounts, which I've learned was a necessary step in securing my accounts. While I thought this process would be time consuming and difficult, UMB's Sara Arends at the Colfax location made the process smooth, efficient, and because she was so kind, even pleasant. Thank you Sara and UMB as a whole for helping me keep my accounts secure, and making banking with you a positive experience.”
