“I was in search of ground pork for tourtiere and have been disappointed at the meat selection at the local groceries stores such as Safeway. CL had ground pork for a good price so I got what I needed, along with the beef. Let me tell you, this meat is way above the rest of the meat I've found in the Springs. I had it in my fridge for two days before cooking and it stayed bright pink, unlike other store's meats which turn brown in a day or two. It tastes like meat is supposed to taste as well. I will be doing all of my meat shopping here from now on.

My only complaint was there was a little cilantro in the pork and tourtiere absolutely cannot have cilantro, but I was able to pick it out. They put their meat in big bins and top them with cilantro, onion, and lemon, so I see how it got mixed in there. Not a big deal. Still 5 stars from me.

I did look around the rest of the store and the pastries looked incredible so I got a few and really enjoyed them.

“Overall good selection and professional staff. Have really enjoyed this commissary. Always double check your prices. got charged $50 for a watermelon once, but they quickly corrected the issue and refunded it. We had a good joke about it being made of gold and moved on. The sushi is surprisingly pretty good, we love the rotisserie chicken they serve here and the sandwiches are pretty great. The bakery is pretty barebones, but they have one.”

“This has been the best king soopers I have been too since I moved to the Springs. Everyone is so friendly. I love that they have plenty of self checkout. It makes my small trip quick. I don't have to wait behind people with 25+ things.

The young lady at self checkout was so nice and bubbly, she even answered some questions about the digital coupons. And when something didnt come off she fixed it. She was absolutely amazing. Same with all of the other staff in store.

Way too many people complain about self checkout. If your setting off the machine with every scan its something wrong with you. I seen this gentleman complaining about self-checkout and how there should be cashiers opening lanes and how the machines are ruining everything. I haven't had any problems with it. Plus they usually have 4+ people on registers, 2 people on self-checkouts doesn't hurt anyone.”

“As someone with a lot of dietary restrictions, Natural Grocer’s has become one of my main stores for grocery shopping and vitamin/supplement needs. They have some unique finds, and the produce is always great, even if the selection isn’t as large as its competitors. It’s a tad pricier but signing up for rewards has helped with earning coupons and finding deals.”

“A Hidden Gem That Feels Like Home!

Yesterday, I stopped by Kwik for the first time, and let me tell you—I’m so glad I did! I've driven past it many times but never thought to stop in. I needed a few quick items for a small breakfast I was catering and didn’t have time to run to the dollar store or anywhere else. As soon as I stepped inside, I was instantly reminded of the bodegas and corner stores back home in Camden, Trenton, and Philly! You know the ones—where you walk in, throw up a hand to the cashier with a “What’s good?” and get the same energy right back. It’s the type of spot where you ask for what you need, and they shout the aisle with the chips from behind the counter.

The ice wasn’t in your typical outdoor chest, but in a white ice chest like the ones you have at home—inside the store! I couldn’t help but smile when I saw all the familiar snacks and drinks, like the double-decker cream pies and Munchies chips that take you back. All it needed was a deli case in the back serving up a bacon, egg, and cheese on a hoagie roll!

To top it off, the customer service was amazing—friendly, warm, and everything you’d hope for. It felt like home for a moment, and I couldn’t stop smiling. I was telling my daughters about it, and it turns out they were going there before they moved back to Jersey in 2018! They were gatekeeping—hahaha—they should have told me about this spot sooner!

“We were visiting Colorado Springs during Thanksgiving week. This market was close to our AirBnB and I pre-ordered Thanksgiving dinner meals of ham and turkey breast with the trimmings. It was very convenient to pick up and easy to heat up in our AirBnB that had full size oven, stove, and microwave.”

It was our 20th anniversary, and we traveled from Albuquerque to Colorado Springs for a much-needed escape. Both my partner and I were recently laid off—my job at Verizon was sent overseas, and my partner lost theirs soon after. Our trip hit a rough patch when Google Maps led us down a steep road, causing some tension despite my all-wheel drive and snow tires.

Then came Sue—an absolute lifesaver! Without my reading glasses, I struggled to pick out flowers, but Sue stepped in, even though she didn’t work in the floral department. She helped me find the perfect travel-friendly vase, knowing we’d be heading back to Albuquerque after our four-day stay. She crafted a stunning bouquet, complete with a Starbucks cup of water and nutrients to keep it fresh. When I asked if she had done this before, she said no—and I was amazed because she worked with such skill and care.

Sue went above and beyond, rushing to help and making us feel truly special. She turned what could have been a stressful moment into a highlight of our trip. Sue, you didn’t just make a bouquet—you made our anniversary unforgettable. Thank you so much for your kindness and dedication!”

“Well October 16 ,2022 I went to buy a few things and cash a cheque for over. What's new I have been going there for eight years and cashing cheques. Anyways I was harassed and victimized. I was at the self check out and manager looked at my cheque for so long that I asked her if something was wrong . She then asked for ID no prob. She tried to run it at the self check out but did not know how and told me it could not be run there. I told her I had cashed cheques at self checkout many times.Then I suggested why not customer service. She said she was working there and to go to a register. When I got there Bud H told me my cheque would not go for over but that I could write a cheque for the exact amount.Victimize me some more and insult my intelligence. I said I would talk to the manager in the morning. Used a card and left. I then went home and called telecheque.no issues with my cheque what so ever . They flat out harassed and victimized me for no reason! My girlfriend with me had never seen such harassment in a store. They never ran of course my cheque through telecheques system I then called the manager and I was upset and told her I was coming down to write a cheque and she said no. I asked why and she told me I would find out in the morning as I said I was called the morning manager. I did call the morning manager and I guess the night manager was thinking I would not call because the morning manager knew nothing of it . At this point the morning manager will be talking to them and getting back with me . Last night I wrote a review on the BBB. If they are doing this to me I am not the only one . Hopefully action will be taken and this situation rectified. I am an elderly person and good customer of many years they did this to . How upset they made me with their mean spirited harassment was inexcusable. If action is not taken I will take further action.Well the manager Brad at the King Soopers on 815 Cheyenne Meadows Road in Colorado Springs went above and beyond to rectify this situation. Thank you Brad! For me personally though I have run into some rude people working there and this was the one that broke the camels back. I am just not happy or comfortable shopping there anymore. So to the night manager that caused this along with the rude cashier following her orders bravo I will barely be shopping there anymore.BRAVO.”

“A number of years ago I had an accident that resulted in a brain injury. Because of that and other health issues I spend a lot of time at doctors and at the pharmacy. Over the years I have been to many differnet pharmacies. I have experienced the good, the bad and ugly. The reason I am writing this review is because this pharmacy, the pharmacist and the entire staff are the absolute best I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. The ABSOLUTE BEST! Paul the pharmacist has gone above and beyond to answer all my questions, educate me on side effects and what to be aware of, medication interactions and much more. He is a great guy, and extremely smart! The staff has always been kind and courteous. They greet me by name and treat my kids with kindness. Honestly, in my 10 years of visiting pharacies weekly, this one has stood out above all the others. I genuinely feel like family when I show up to pick up my medication. They are quick to fill medications, fast to get orders in if they dont have something, and always very kind. I actually moved recently, and there is pharmacy much closer, however, I make the drive to this one just because of the people and the service. Incredible job! Thank you Paul, Stephanie, Noah, Jake, and everyone single person there! You have helped make my life easier and more manageable. I genuinely appreciate every single one of you.”
