“Without a doubt, one of the best resort stays I’ve experienced. The property itself is stunning, with beautiful views everywhere you look. The interiors, particularly of the main building, are stunning, harkening back to a golden age. There are quiet nooks to be found throughout for a coffee and reading.
What really makes The Broadmoor is the staff. I’ve never experience service at this level, even in international resorts. Everyone was helpful and friendly, but also knowledgeable. It makes a world of difference.
The restaurants here are also excellent, offering a wide range of options that are stunning.
I highly recommend The Broadmoor. You will not be disappointed.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Buffalo Lodge! The only downside is that we couldn’t stay longer, but we will make it a point to return on our next trip to CO! You couldn’t ask for a better location & experience. The property and rooms are wonderfully kept, and you’re seriously a 5 minute walk right into the Garden! We stayed in room 103 and loved it. The private backyard area was a nice touch. Brews & and live music in the lodge was a nice way to end the day. If you’re planning to visit Colorado Springs/Manitou Springs, this is the place! Cheers!”
“Great place! We went for our anniversary again and it was beyond our expectations, again! Great, friendly service, great patio and bar. Restaurant is Great! It's a top notch place and right in town with walking to most everything. Stayed there 5 times and will go back for sure!”

“Possibly the best place to stay in Manitou and Colorado Springs! I spent a month in one of their studios after returning to the Springs after a year long motorcycle ride. The Red Wing combines a premium location, with a “RT66” 1950s vibe, updated rooms with all modern amenities and a staff that could not be better. Two minute walk to the Garden of the Gods Trading Post, 20 minute walk into Manitou, or drive 5 minutes to downtown COS. Super comfy room with full kitchen, great bed and blankets, nice TV, the fasted net in the city, cold AC and fabulous views. Great parking. Fantastic laundry. Right across from a wonderful city park with a creek. You will love it here and come back.”
“What a cool hotel! We booked a family room for our family of 5. It was very spacious, and we loved the full AND half baths! The beds were comfortable, and the staff was kind. Just a perfect space. The decor and layout of the hotel was stylish and modern. Would definitely recommend.”

“Wonderful, cozy, clean cabins and friendly staff. Spent a week here in early March while in the middle of a move and it was a pleasant island of peace. You'll have to deal with some traffic noise from Manitou Ave on one side and highway 24 on the other, but otherwise it's just delightful. Gives a mountain cabin vibe smack in the middle of town. Great courtyard with grills and patio furniture, pool and playground. Can see this being a superb space for family reunions and similar events in the summer. I've never been particularly comfortable in hotels, but this is the most comfortable I've ever felt in one.”

“I live in Colorado Springs and I just needed a peaceful night's sleep. My stay was just what I needed. Doris checked me in at about 11 pm and was sweet as ever. When I left at 7 she was just as sweet. I have never been let down by HIE's cleanliness and cozy beds. They also offer a hot breakfast.”

“I had to find last min reservations after another hotel was not ADA complaint and not only was I able to get a room Kim was able to help me and my son get checked in and set up with no problem. She was so nice and helpful I would honestly come back just to deal with her. This is a great location with friendly staff that always have a smile on their face. It was clean and everything worked great.”

“To return truck, I had to wait because they weren't open yet, but it says they were suppose to be open at 8am. In San Antonio everything was great, easy peasy getting the truck very friendly. When opened very friendly also. Will use them again! Thanks budget!”

“I don’t understand the negative reviews for this hotel! It is a small hotel that’s tucked behind a car wash and fast food restaurant that can be a little wonky finding the parking lot. I didn’t see any homeless people as mentioned in a previous review. I don’t know enough about Colorado Springs to know if the location is in a bad area of the city, but as a woman traveling solo, I did not feel scared or threatened by the location. My room was very clean as was the lobby and breakfast areas. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. There isn’t an elevator, but I was fortunately on the first floor with easy access to the parking lot. Maybe there were issues in the past that constituted the negative reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised what a gem this place was and I recommend staying here!”

“This was a very nice, clean, friendly, and affordable hotel!!!! The only things I would recommend to them is to provide information about parking options, we parked in the garage across the street for $10. You can bus to about anywhere from this garage, you can pay for valet parking, or street parking if available. Also, they really need curtains because there was quite a lot of light coming through during the night, and the breakfast was kinda lacking compared to even cheaper hotels. Definitely get some muffins and a waffle maker. Otherwise, great stay and we will be back.”

“You can tell they are remodeling but out room was very nice, just the heater was very loud sounded like a washing machine in the spin cycle. Breakfast was good just had to go across the parking lot to get there and it wasn't heated. And it is strange to not have someone at the desk overnight.”

“Everything was wonderful, I did have an issue with the first room I checked into to. There was a loud humming noise that was unbearable. The front desk sent someone to help and switch rooms, which I appreciated. I do wish the pool and hot tub were more maintained and that did make the experience a little sad. But the room was amazing, the view is amazing and the staff was incredible.”

“Been here three days it's nice! I have no issues I stayed at econo lodge before so it's pretty good. I didn't like the comfort suites in town so I came here. Better price same kinda hotel”
“Very late review, but wanted to share my experience with this motel. This review is for a time period in 1995. I was in the military at the time and just needed a place for a week or two during my time in the Springs on orders. And Fort Carson didn't have billets available. This motel and another on Nevada Ave would be the only two I would use only that offered weekly rates. With that said.
Can't complain about service nor quality of the rooms. You get what you pay for as the saying goes, but it was safe and quiet at that time. Staff was cordial and professional in 1995. I didn't trust the downtown motels as crime was problematic, and bedbugs were also an issue at that time. Only been here maybe two times at best. But, since retiring from the military in 2006 thought about my time in the Springs, and the places I been too as well. Just wanted to share my 2¢ down memory lane.”

“This is a 5-star, 3-star hotel. Room was very nice and clean. The self-serve kiosk in the lobby is very-well stocked. A very nice selection of cold beers, wines, and chilled wines/bubbles. The restaurant is funny. One poor woman who serves as bartender, bar back, bus boy, and server. Food was good for a hotel bar. Pizza was good and ribeye was good. The front desk folks were also very nice. Sidewalks were cleared of ice and snow. Not a lot of dining options close by, so if you want that, stay downtown.”

“We stayed here for a little over 20 days while relocating to Colorado, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We were especially thankful that they were able to accommodate us and our puppy after the lodging at our Space Force Base couldn’t accommodate pets.
The hotel was always clean, the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, and having complimentary breakfast every morning was a nice bonus. The location on Fort Carson was also very convenient, with plenty of places to eat and shop nearby.
Moving across the country can be stressful, but staying here made the transition so much easier. We’re so grateful for the hospitality we received during our stay. Now it’s time to move into our new home, and we’ll definitely look back on our time here with appreciation. We would absolutely stay here again!”
