“This Exxon gas station is so convenient if you need to stop before Parachute or Rifle. The employee on duty was very nice and helpful. But it was very sad to see the effects of the homeless and vagrant population in Fruita damaging this nice gas station. The Squeegees were stolen and no fluid in the windshield reservoirs. The locks and doors were broken in the ladies' room and were dirty. With the cost of housing all over Colorado, it's amazing that any gas station can find employees. So sad, all these wealthy people are coming to Colorado and paying $800k for 3 bedroom homes, that used to house the working class. No wonder there are so many businesses without help and so many homeless people.”

“I have no complaints about the business but this open 24 hours claim is a load of it. Only the pumps air hose and ice house are open 24 hours and that's because you pay at them the main store itself is not open 24 hours”

“Most Mavericks we’ve visited have had a large and varied menus in their Bonfire grills that (last year) included a Mac and cheese with smoked brisket that was to die for. No more, apparently. Always nice and clean with very helpful staff. Husband pumped diesel and said he’d gotten email from the rewards people advertising a real good discount…turned out was only in Colorado (we’re there traveling) and somehow it didn’t appear on our receipt. Oh well. Good solid stop anyway”

“So yes me and my boy have been here before! I knew it I knew I knew it! Go read his review for more detail but pretty much as good as gold. New hand paper towel holder though. Out with the old in with the gold! Didn't get gas because everyone loves this spot in Fruita and a whole passel of Coleraderans were lined up for that sweet sweet dino bones liquid.”
