“WOW. I went to start work with my 2 screens, charger and a microphone when none of my ports worked. I was stressed and it was urgent! I went around town and ended up at this spot, super pleasantly surprised. They heard me, gave me space to speak, took my laptop and said they'd be able to work on it quickly. They kept me updated often via email and called to walk me through everything. It was just a great experience.”

“I had problems after Xfinity came out to hook up cable; they also disconnected Roku and messed with the IR that ListenUp had installed earlier. I texted my regular tech (Rob) who helped me to correct some of the issues, and then he scheduled a visit, which he said might take a while because they'd been very busy. It turned out that one of the tech teams had a cancellation and happened to be a few minutes away, so they came and fixed everything that day. Very happy!”

“My laptop died and the first inexpensive laptop I brought to them. They called me soon after I dropped it off and said no this is Microsoft S. You should get a different machine. So I went and got a better laptop from Best Buy. They are quite a bit cheaper for data transfer than Best Buy. I brought it in yesterday for the data transfer and they were able to do it in 24 hours and help me get some basic things loaded on the PC before I left the store. Overall great experience.”

“I brought my vehicle in because I had an issue with another company putting my system in and this company wasn’t taking the responsibility to fix it. KTC assisted me in figuring out the issues and talked me thru options. I finally decided and got a new system in with KTC working around the one issue. There was also some confusion on the installation and when I called KTC they took care of the problem with a fair resolution. I appreciate they didn’t have any attitude about it. They are always friendly when I come in.”

I was just in the Lakeside EZ Pawn this evening, and was worried with it being black Friday, but they had extra staff working and even with a busy store, I was taken care of really quickly! I cannot speak on other's being ok with a price, but Felipe made me a great deal on the controller I was buying and I am happy with the overall transaction and super happy with the store and how I was treated. And that is is cleaned up and really nice looking compared to a while back, they really are crushing it here. “I’ve been coming here with my son for years. Recently we came in to purchase a few items and have been very pleased with all of our purchases. Over the years the store has grown and it’s one of the most well organized in the city. Most pawn shops in town are a mess and inventory in those places is always beat up and dirty. I like coming here because they keep the shop super clean, prices are fair, and they take great care of their inventory. When I come I have total confidence that whatever I buy will be in mint condition. Glad to see they survived COVID and are still going strong. ? I was surprised to learn it’s a father and daughter team that runs the shop. Well done Pops teaching that young lady how to run a business. Short version is over two weeks of dealing with customer service nothing got resolved.I went to this store and explained what happened to Joy who resolved the issue in less than two minutes.I think I am just going to go to this store for any future issues they can handle. “Bill is amazing!! I brought my receiver to him just before closing after finding a last-ditch YouTube video on how to fix my system after a power surge at my home caused internal problems. It would requie taking the system apart and shorting 2 solder pads together, which I would have never found by myself (have you seen how tiny the connections are inside one of these things?!). He stopped what he was doing and helped me fix my system! If any of you need any electronics fixed, this is the guy. He's had this place since the 1980s. Also, I chose to take my receiver to him based on all his awesome reviews here. They were right!”

“Great place to find odd or hard-to-find computer cables (or even more common cables). Their prices are completely reasonable and they have a lot of stuff in stock. For example, I needed 16 fifteen-foot mini display port to HDMI cables for a job the next day. I was able to pick them up within an hour of calling. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. They've always had what I needed, or had a work-around that got the job done.”

“Steve had installed a projection theater system in a previous house. We moved and reinstalled the theater system in the new home. After 3 years of operation at the new home, the Control4 module (the brains of the system) failed. Steve was the only person I thought of to fix the failed module due to what he had done for us in the past. He is very knowledgeable of current A/V technology and suggested replacing the Control4 module with a current upgraded module. We agreed and Ian installed the new module and reprogrammed the system to provide the same features plus new functionality to better integrate all the components. Now the entire system including dimming the room lights can be controlled using one handheld remote. Ian was great to work with and very professional, he showed up when he said he would, worked tirelessly to provide all the new and old features, and even cleaned up the old equipment which had gathered dust. It was a pleasure to work with Ian and Steve.If you are looking to install a new Home Theater or upgrade an existing one, look no further than Sound Media Solutions. You won't be disappointed.”

“Celeste (cashier) was so helpful and got us off to a great start, then Glenn (sales in PC components) was a true superstar ... he was wearing a mask and I could still hear him clearly, though he was still modulated in his volume and speech, some people have a hard time with that! He made several recommendations to the build my husband Matt had put together, and improved the projected performance while helping us stay more or less within budget. We couldn't be more pleased.Also. Microcenter DOES have a powered basket wheelchair for customer convenience and it was charged and ready for use though I found many aisles were inaccessible, blocked with merchandise or pillars, or just too narrowly placed.
