“I am a resident at Promenade. My gas fireplace was not working. Grey star hired Pete’s Plumbing to do the repair.
I wish I had written down the technician’s name. He had to replace quite a few he had to replace quite a few parts. He was great.
He totally kept his composure and kept informed on everything he was doing. I would totally recommend him and Pete’s plumbing for future repairs.”

Every time we've had an issue in our apartment, he has responded quickly and taken care of it the right way the first time. He consistently goes above and beyond to make sure we feel supported, and it truly shows in the quality of his work. “This is a review for the Griffis SoCo location in Austin, TX, although it might pertain to you if you have a temporary form of ID. I was told this was the parent company, so wanted to leave a review here as well, as I don't know if it is the location or the companies fault.

The actual location was super nice and the people were great, but found out after paying the $260 non-refundable application fees that the identification system used to verify your identity does not accept temporary paper drivers license permits despite it being a valid form of identification. I am currently waiting for my actual card to arrive in the mail, but this is all I have at the moment. No where on the website or application does it state this.

While I understand the need to verify someones ID, we wasted time and money in application fees only to find out that we couldn't even successfully apply to the apartment due to this. It should be stated up front in the office or on the website that valid, temporary paper drivers license are not accepted, before money is wasted.

I wanted to change this review to a more positive one as I do believe the company handled my situation well and acted with integrity. I am still waiting on my ID, but if it comes and we have not yet found a place to live, we will definitely be considering Griffis Residential.”
