“I’ve been a member of Orangetheory for over 8 years and have always enjoyed their workouts, coaches, and studios (locations). They now offer Strength classes which consist of weight lifting, body exercises, TRX, Bosu ball and other things. They still offer their normal classes which consist of cardio (bike, strider, or treadmill), rowing, and the “floor” (the strength training area). Orangetheory offers a supportive environment for people of all fitness levels and ages and I love that I can prebook which forces me to attend.”

“Beyond Fitness has been a great gym to belong to. The mix of different classes each day of the week keeps it from becoming boring, the owners are fabulous and the coaches are all personable and welcoming. The gym community itself is great too. So glad I joined!”

“I love Manic! I've had years of issues after too much running. I spent a lot of time and money in PT, dry needling, massage etc. I've tried everything out there: Crossfit - too weightlifting-centric for me, many gyms have subpar coaching for what you need when lifting that heavy. OrangeTheory - I loved, but the running got to me, and as they got too corporate and it became boring. I get bored in a gym. F45 was great, but Manic has much more variety and social outings and isn't corporate (same price without the commitments). I also like 60 min over 45 min, but there are 45 min slots at Manic if needed. F45 only does 60 min on Saturdays. I do feel like F45 has more "coaching" if you need more input. There are a couple of coaches per class, and they are very in tune with everyone. Manic is more casual, and the coaches sometimes work out with you. F45 does show your HR up on the screen, which is fun, but I just do it on my watch. The points from F45 aren't customized to your max HR, so the splat points didn't really apply to me because of low max HR.I love that Manic is focused on getting in shape to go out and live life to the fullest. There are lots of fun outings like climbing the Manitou incline and happy hours. They host DEKA events which is fun. They are open to kids with kid classes, and my 10-year-old often joins me. There are 2 full rooms (open to use after/before class), showers, and hot yoga. There is a mix of HIIT and strength classes (mostly strength T, Thursday, Sat) and HIIT Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat. Pete is awesome, and it's a ton of fun without being repetitive. I still use my Orange Theory zones, and I blow my orange/red zones out of the water because it's easy to work hard when changing it up so much without the injuries.”

“I have never been a fan of working out and usually look for any excuse not to. I joined about 2.5 months ago and actually enjoy the classes. With kids and a full time job its tough to find a studio that works around my schedule but between the coached and virtual sessions I really can’t find an excuse not to go. It’s also great that they have partnerships with local businesses where you can use the points you earn in classes. I would definitely recommend eat the frog!”

“This gym offers small group fitness classes with a personal training feel. The instructors are friendly and knowledgeable, with extremely low staff turnover. All abilities and fitness levels are welcome. If you are looking for a variety of classes in a workout community that’s welcoming and motivating, give FIT/ology a try.”

“CrossFit Modig is an amazing gym! The workout was fun but definitely challenging, and the warm-up was super thorough—I was well prepared for the WOD. Coach Brady was excellent, with clear instruction and helpful tips throughout the workout. On top of that, the members were so welcoming and made me feel right at home from day one. It is not your super intense, aggressive, in your face CrossFit gym. I felt very welcome and was able to adapt the workout to my level. If you’re looking for a great workout and an awesome community, this is the place to be!”
