220 South Main Street, La VetaWe stopped in for a beer and dinner. The food menu is limited, but the beer menu is fairly extensive. Most everyone should be able to find a beer that they like. We had the Octoberfest. It's a solid Marzen. Very good. Everyone was friendly. They have a really large patio that would be great when the weather is nice. Great local brewery.

30 Cuchara Avenue, La VetaI love this place! Every time I’m in Cuchara I make sure to come here. Service is always great and the food is done well. Definitely recommend the buffalo chicken bites, fried chicken sandwich, any of the cocktails, and the tacos. Their fries are those thinner crispy fries which I absolutely love. The bacon on the BLT is maplely, so just be aware if you order it. It’s great if you love that style of bacon. I didn’t get them this time, but I really enjoyed the wings the last time I was in town.
We came when it was rainy but still got to enjoy the covered, enclosed deck with great views. Very reasonably priced for the town and also dog friendly. Stop by if you’re in the area! You won’t be disappointed.
