227 Greydene Ave #2651, Cañon CityWe have started taking our pack of 13 Great Pyrenees Newfoundland St.Bernard dogs here and this the absolute best grooming salon. We have tried a few other groomers and they took 5x longer than Big Dogs and they didn’t look nearly as good. They are also way cheaper here and use better products and grooming supplies. The last dog I had groomed in BV who had previously groomed her said it would be 300. When we went to pick her up the groomer held our dog hostage saying he would not release her to us unless we paid 500 and he only takes cash. We ended up having to go to an atm just to get her back and vowed never to go back there. Big Dogs is completely opposite. For the same dog it was about 130. My dog didn’t want to leave she loved her spa day so much and her attitude totally changed for the better when we got home. She behaves so much better and doesn’t want to get her coat dirty now. Previously she would tromp through any mud she could find. Now she takes pride in her appearance. It may sound silly but I swear it’s true. The next dog we brought to them came back with the silkiest softest fur he’s ever had. He looks so good. Big Dogs is the most caring and cleanest well mannered grooming salon. I highly recommend them. We will be taking all our dogs there from now on.

All of my family goes to her she is so amazing. She has been grooming my dog for almost 12 years and that’s just the one in this picture. Thank you so much Rose we love you.

Rose Veterinary Hospital
1910 High St, Cañon CityDr. KK has been our vet for our two dogs since Sept 2024. Both are rescues, one is an American Staffordshire Terrier (Capone 5y) with severe allergies (ear infections and skin issues), and the other is a Sheep-a-Doodle (Ben 2y). We are seen in the Westcliffe location. Rose Vet neutered Ben in 2024, as well as performed a dental exam/cleaning under anesthesia in 2026--both at the Canon City location. We've experienced excellent care for both of our beloved doggoes. Dr KK and staff always patiently and kindly explain treatment plans and costs (the latter being quite reasonable). We never have any trouble getting appts, and each and every staff member has been professional and friendly. We are extremely satisfied with and trust the care given to Ben and Capone by Rose Vet.

123 N 5th St, Cañon CityDan and I took our bikes to Sally’s bakery this morning for breakfast. I had the breakfast bowl. It was one of the best things I’ve ever had in a restaurant. It had a bit of mixed greens with grilled vegetables, scrambled eggs, a sausage, patty, cilantro , diced up fresh tomatoes, sliced avocado and some sprouts on top. It was so delicious. I didn’t even use the dressing that they gave me.

45045 W U.S. Hwy 50, Cañon CityWe stopped in at White Water Bar & Grill yesterday and wow... the food was amazing! I ordered the cheesesteak, and the bun was so soft without being overly thick. The flavor was definitely on point.
We came back today since our campground is only about 2 miles away, and I ordered the bacon cheeseburger. It was just as delicious!
They also got my cocktail order right every single time: Tito's, soda, tall, light ice. 😊
Lacy and my other server were both fantastic. Great food, great drinks, and great service. We'll definitely be back!
