“love this branch! the service is always quick - in and out. If there is a line, the staff is very good at keeping it moving. The staff is so friendly and treats their customers respectfully/kind. I only wish their drive-thru was fully functional, I still dont understand how it works if it ever did but for the services I use, I can go in and out inside the branch that it isn't a huge inconvenience.”

“I have been with the Credit Union of Colorado and using the Lakewood location for over 20 years. During that time I've had checking and savings accounts, home mortgage, and home improvement loans, I've have always found all of the staff to be polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. One of the nice perks is that you can go in anytime their open to get something notarized for free.”

“Extremely friendly employees. Sometimes I wish simple things didn't take so long, like making any kind of withdrawal, or opening accounts, but the staff has always been super friendly, and fair. I've never had issues with fees that others complain about. If you don't overdraw your account, you won't see fees. It's an unfortunate fact that those with bad money management skills will complain the loudest when they are penalized for their inability to manage their finances.”

“I have been with this bank 20 or 30 years now. The have my home loan, my credit card and have serviced other loans. Very convenient to have them all together. I mostly do online banking but have had no problems. I did have some customer service trouble once when on the phone. I think pretty goid fir all these years.”

“I am sorry to see so many bad reviews, but we just signed up with them, with just simple savings, cd's etc and we were totally amazed that they had plenty of employees to handle the customers. Our rep was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and another solved quickly for us a small glitch in signing up. Maybe the older bad reviews have caused a great improvement in service and solving problems?”

“I miss the old crew....Ramona and Ian.Haven't gotten to know the new crew and with the ridiculous short hours and absurd long lines because of the short hours I can't catch them open. With covid and me being high risk, I don't go to the grocery till late when the families are at home and not breathing on me. king soopers doesn't require masks and they're not cleaning carts between uses so I take my own wipes for the gimpmobiles. The bank is way to the south end of the store so I can't avoid the crowds.Longer hours needed!”

“I understand and experienced the negative reviews. However, I have experience them and worst at the top 3 American banks as I have personal and business accounts at there institution. I was caught off guard several months ago when the bank increased there wire transfer fraud protection procedure. The bank is a solid 4.5 small bank with deposits over $1 billion. They are publicly traded otc SLRK. Research yourself.Iam happy. Chicago USA”

“I have been banking with them for about a decade. Their CD rates are great. They only have two branches, but their online banking provides everything I need. Their customer service is incredible. They are a very stable credit union and do a good job keeping up with technology. The only downside is their limited credit card offerings, which is not a big deal. Give them a try, especially if you are looking for good deposit rates.”
