“I felt my belongings were safe and secure at this storage space. The grounds were always clean and not run down. I only gave 4 stars due to the fact I felt the price increased a little too often. Overall I was happy with my 2 years of storing at this location. My unit was on the end and I had no problems with moisture or any damage. I entered the office on 2 occasions and staff was friendly and answered my questions.”
“Extra Space Storage set it up on line fast and easy checked in at the desk walk me over to the unit make sure everything was good to go workers are very attentive if you need anything just ask they Climate controlled just what I needed”
“Wow, what an upgrade from Public Storage! This place is clean and everything works! I went to see my unit on my own. It was very easy to just pop it open check it out. The lightbulb worked everything was in great repair. There was a dolly cart on each end of the building. I walked into the office to introduce myself to the property manager. I was amazed it smelled and looked like the maid service just left. The property manager is sweet, kind and honest. We talked about why I was getting a storage unit and that I was moving over from public storage It’s like night and day between the two companies! Idgaf about their move in for a dollar for the 1st month. Those guys jacked up my rent by $150 the third month in. They had some homeless people hanging out in a car inside of their storage place and they body blocked me into my unit while I was by myself. I will never again use public storage. This place is nice! No homeless people living in the units.”
“I did rent a Storage unit in, 6001 W. Mississippi Ave, Lakewood, CO 80226. These units are very, very clean and well maintained by staff. Also, I had few questions about the units, the billing, and about the Customer Service. A customer service representative from the property by the name, Alex went extra mile to go above and beyond. Alex, answer to all my questions like a pro, showed me around the property and make sure that I understood everything before I sign the contract.

“Megan is extremely knowledgeable and helpful through this entire process! An elevator was down on moving day but she quickly moved my unit so I could easily move my things in :) wonderful customer care and service!

“Been renting a unit here for over 2 years. All storage places have their problems but I’ve hardly had any here during my time. Have to shout out Elena who has been a gem throughout- always love seeing when she’s working. No nonsense, cheerful and upbeat. Very understanding and communicative. Love her!”

“The process of getting a storage unit was great, very simple online application process, access code was texted to me promptly, move-in was very easy. My only suggestion would be to have a map with the building and unit numbers to make it easier to locate unit for the first time.”

“Got a hitch installed on my Forester here. The manager and hitch pro in this shop were fantastic. Special shout out to the hitch pro (who's name I didn't catch, but he's a tall younger guy with glasses) he went above and beyond in helping me make sure everything was good with installation. You can tell he really knows his stuff and takes a lot of pride in his work.”

“These guys made the process of renting my truck super easy. Friendly and helpful with questions I had. My phone died when I returned the truck and the guy didn't waste a second and it was no problem and he took care of the return process real quick for me.”
“I called the Uhaul customer service line because I do not have time to call each location to see which location has the pieces to install a hitch and also be able to do the correct wiring harness. The customer service lady gave me the Uhaul on the opposite side of town that had the correct pieces and could install the same day. Well I get over there to find out that they do have the correct pieces but the installation guy is out sick and the owner Dala does not know when he will return to reschedule. So I bought the pieces. At least I had the pieces and she nicely loaded them up for to me to take home. Ultimately, I feel like I should of been angry because services were not rendered. However the way the owner treated me and explained the situation truthfully being Memorial Day weekend to wreck my plans because her guy wanted an extra day off is really unacceptable. But Dala was exceptional giving me other options that another location can put it on for me. I'm going to go ahead and give Dala and this location 5 stars because at no time did she ever give me attitude or a problem. She had apologized and it is was it is. Thank goodness I did find another location to put it on but at least this location provided half of the project. I would still go back there to rent a truck or buy any type of moving necessities.”

“Uhaul went above and beyond by not charging me what they could have and changed my 6-day rental and 1-day extension with an estimated 100 miles and ended up putting about 800 on. At $1+/mile that would've cost me an additional $800+! Instead they changed my contract to the weekly rental and I only ended up owing them $154. They didn't have to do that but did it anyway. I'm hurting right now and this helped me tremendously. I appreciate uhaul by not being greedy like other companies. Thank you so very much.”
