“This is NOT a thrift store with damaged goods! It's a fashionable boutique and the items happened to be owned before. Huge selection currated for a variety of tastes. Plus, it's women-owned! I bought a bunch of sterling silver jewlery (2 chains, 2 bracelets, & a pin) for a fraction of the cost to buy similar items new.”
“Great place to poke around and find something interesting . The prices are good and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable . Nice selection and fairly large place . I found a great replica of an old windmill blade for $44 ! It looks great hanging on our wall . I was also looking for a license plate and they had a huge selection from all states . I will definitely go back to check it out again !”
“Tim Wise did an absolutely marvelous refinish and restore of Great Granny’s dresser, and I couldn’t be more pleased with his work! His knowledge of his craft and attention to detail made for a superb outcome. This piece probably didn’t look as good as it does today on the day my Gran brought it home… Highly recommended for any of your precious antiques that need a touch up!”
“I almost hate to share this gem but here it goes: Rags Warehouse is a magical place. It is only open Fridays and Saturdays and it is not a place for bringing consigned clothes to sell. It is a women's only place (no men's clothes here) and the last stop for the pre-loved clothes from the main two boutiques before they get donated. As a result, everything in the store is 40% off the ticket price. AMAZING! Best of all, the manager is a woman named Cecily. I cannot fully describe how kind and lovely she is in this review. Cecily makes everyone who walks through the door feel extra special. (The sales people from the Rags boutiques need to take note.) This is my fave secret place to visit. Def worth the drive.”
“This is one of my favorite shops in Boulder. I make sure to visit every time I’m in town since they have such a great constant rotating selection of consignment items. Apocalypse has some of the best selection I’ve come across and their team is wicked friendly and helpful!”

“Definitely one of my favorite stores to shop at for my daughter, I go here religiously. The owner is always so welcoming, and so is her husband the few times I’ve shopped there while he was stepping in. The prices are also unbeatable, which makes it a little less harsh on the wallet when it’s time to update your child’s wardrobe, its even better that she also does a good amount of in store credit on clothes/items you bring in.”

“I shop at the Arc thrift store multiple times a month. Usually it's later in the evening and the night staff is extremely friendly. Even when I come in later they take the time to show me things in the case never making me feel rushed. The staff is knowledgeable about their products, and will even help me try and find that special something, but I've been looking for. Kate always greets me by name, and always has something nice to say. Although, sometimes crowded, I constantly see the staff cleaning and straightening up the aisles. Keeping the store, clean and organized for the guest. The donation drop off is easy, and there's always someone there to help you. They even have a food donation area, helping local food banks.”
“I always find some good clothing items when I stop in. Recently bought 5 shirts plus a pair of jeans for $35 total. There are boutique items but also racks of discount clothing for $4 each item. And the money goes to a great cause!”

“Last Thursday (9/14/23), my daughter and I went to sell my granddaughters clothing. We had never sold clothes like this before so it was a new experience for us. The employee working took our clothes and gave us a slip to fill out, she explained very carefully and in detail of how the selling works and what to fill out. In a decent amount of time she finished looking through our clothes, we did bring three totes and she did only take a few items to this we were a bit confused and asked why? she told us in detail of what was acceptable for them to take, why they couldn’t take it, and even gave us advice on what sizes and items they were accepting that week and told us to call or check their website if we ever had questions about what they were accepting. Even though they only took a couple items it was a lovely experience and the employee working there was very diligent about making sure we knew what to do, answering our questions and was extremely helpful, we know now what to expect for next time we come back! I definitely recommend going here!”

“I love this location! I've been to many other locations, like Westminster, and they have not been NEARLY as wonderful as these girls. I just moved to Boulder and I needed to find cute clothes for school starting up. They were super sweet and helpful and they helped me ever since I first stepped foot in the store. I love how many options there are and how much cheaper it was than I expected. Definitely coming here again!”
“Let me just start by saying this Alayna at the Westminster store is amazing! 10/10 would recommend her if your needing help or have questions on anything. She was so helpful and answered all of my questions, I would recommend that if your going to get rid of clothing to call Plato's closet, I've never had a problem with there business everything I have ever gotten from Plato's closet has been nothing but well taking care of clothing, shoes and more. The value of time and effort put into by the employees is a wonderful, it's always very clean and smells good, clothing isn't on the floor and stepped on like most places. I will continue to shop here. Thank you Alayna for doing just an amazing job today! You deserve this review!!”

“Nicely stocked. Good prices especially on Saturday with their 4 tag sales. One employee in the Brick brack yesterday was a little rude for not acknowledging my question and then pushing her restock cart away from me. But hey I get they don’t like people going in their carts. Found lots of name brands on sale.”
