“This is a useful and necessary place along the Peak to Peak highway, in between Black Hawk proper and Nederland. Sure, it's just a gas station and convenience store, but if you live up here and don't want to drive far, it's essential! They have a solid snack selection and even a small amount of refrigerated food, like eggs. Need ice or propane? They do their best to keep those things in stock! Gas exists, of course, as well as a small freezer of ice cream.They used to have a bigger freezer, but it appears to have died and not been replaced. That's a shame, I wish they would do that. Otherwise, we just need this place and I'm glad it exists.”

“People who worked there were nice and even told us that the grocery store in town had cheaper groceries than they did at the Kwik Mart. We were able to find what we needed and they had ice for our coolers.”
