“This store is a family owned, small town gem. Some of their prices are high, yes, but that’s because they don’t have the buying power as Kroger’s, Walmart, Safeway etc. They have a good selection of organic, gluten free and conventional foods, and a gigantic area for pet food and supplies.”
“Visiting the Gold Hill Store and Pub in Boulder, Colorado, was a charming experience. The drive from Parker through scenic hillside routes, reaching an elevation of 8,900 feet, was breathtaking. The store itself, built in 1878, stands as a testament to time, with its rustic wooden charm. Sipping a cup of chai while seated at a table made from a tree trunk added a cozy, unique touch. I still couldn’t believe that a wooden building lasting more than a 150 years.
The small town’s beautiful architecture and quiet charm make it feel like stepping back in time. A hidden gem nestled in the hills, perfect for those seeking tranquility and history. I saw a lot of people cycling in this place.”
