“This place is a gem! Interesting crowd, good drinks, great cheeseburgers. Service is friendly but they take their time with drinks and the place gets busy in the evening, so beware, you may wait in line for more than 20 minutes before you can place an order.
Street parking is easy if you get there early. On a Friday night, I got there around 5PM and parked right in front. I was 2 hours early for the band. Other times if I get there after 7PM, I have to park really far away.”

“I love Lucky’s. I’ve been shopping here since I moved to Boulder 20 years ago. I’ve seen a lot of staff come and go, some of whom I miss very much, but the market itself has hardly changed. I don’t know how they do it in such a small space, but it’s rare I can’t find everything I need. It is the quintessential neighborhood market. There’s something about the “vibe” too—it still feels cozy, like the Boulder I loved two decades ago, which is no longer true for many other parts of town.”
“Ideal Market (aka whole foods) is one of the best lil grocery stores in North Boulder. It has a cozy neighborhood feel, great organic and local products, and the staff is always friendly. I also love that they’re open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., which makes it easy to stop by whenever I need a few things.”
“I love all Sprouts stores—undoubtedly my favorite place to grocery shop—but I had a particularly wonderful experience the other day at this location and felt the need to share.
My three year old and I were shopping close to closing time, and as we were checking out, the manager Corey (spelling?!) gifted her two of their adorable little Easter themed Palm Pal stuffies—such a small gesture, but boy did it truly meant the world to her. She talked about her new friend “Corey from Sprouts” the whole way home, and the little carrot and bunny stuffed toys have not left her side since we left the store.
In addition to consistently warm and helpful customer service (from EVERYONE who works there), the store is always clean and stocked, I’m able to find unique items I typically can’t find at other health food stores, and they are even willing to sample out products I have questions about.
I am a single mom on food stamps, so shopping for healthy and affordable options often feels like a chore. The little things (as mentioned above) go such a long way!”
“They serve high quality, locally roasted coffee here. Both coffee and tea beverages are excellent. It's a very tranquil and pleasant atmosphere and being in Chataqua is a bonus . Lots of covered outdoor seating available”

“This market has pretty much everything you would need to make any Asian dish! Plenty of sauces, spices and dry goods. I’ve been coming here for years. Today I was pleasantly surprised to find a more obscure ingredient (Kaffir lime leaves) that’s not even available at Great Wall or Hmart!

“Really, really delicious sandwiches! The staff were kind and thoughtful. I ordered my sandwich with gluten free bread and they checked with me before toasting in case of cross contamination issues, and made sure to label things really well to distinguish between the gluten free and regular bread. Very impressed with the quality and portion size.”

“This is a Covid update, but for recent shopping. I did try a couple of times last year but even when I tried delivery back when I needed delivery, the "shoppers" at that time were buying randomly at other Safeway's in the area and then just delivering from there for some reason. I did not always get what I wanted even though this store's website had posted as available. And one product from a different store further away was stale and very late in the sell by date. If I want a Safeway, this is the one in the area I like best. Not particularly near where I live, but easy to get to and ample safe parking. Since Boulder is currently short a major grocery that is delayed in reopening their damaged store, and having supply issues at their other convenient location, I thought to try this Safeway. I am glad I did. We were driving to a destination in the area and ran in for a few items, out of stock elsewhere in town. They had all of it! We were happy to find a nice fresh supply and bought several. Not crowded and easy to check out and well staffed and clean. All important factors for me. I don't go here a lot but I should always remember to try them.”
“I always get my avocados (and salsa things) here I have yet to get a bad avocado! Avocados are so tricky and some are just bad for no reason but not here. Magic.”
“I've always received amazing service. All their products come pre-seasoned and it is honestly one of the ferret places to shop in Boulder. I lived in New Mexico so this is what I would see all the time. I'm able to speak with them in both English and Spanish, and buy products I wouldn't get in other stores.”

Louis is the store manager and is the most friendly and helpful person at any King Soopers I have been to. It's a busy store, but, they are great at keeping shelves well stocked and organized. It would have been nice if there were any options other than a self-checkout but the guy monitoring self checkout was able to charge me for items that had no barcode and no price at a separate register. A little bit annoying that they close the restrooms an hour before the grocery store closes so I had to wait.”

“This is my favorite grocery store in town! What I love most is how convenient it is. I tend to spend too much time in larger grocery stores and often leave with things I didn’t plan to buy or don’t really need. Shopping here helps me avoid that because they have everything I need without being overwhelming. I also finish my grocery shopping about three times faster than I do at bigger supermarkets. It’s efficient, convenient, and makes grocery shopping much less stressful.”
