“I ordered two pair of boots from Berkeley supply. When they arrived, there was an issue with one of them, a pair of factory seconds Red Wing 9423 Beckmans (Black Excalibur). In the 9423 box was a pair of 9419 Beckmans (Black Cherry Excalibur). I was worried that I would not be able to return them since the site states there are no returns, exchanges, or refunds on factory seconds. I emailed them and Eli quickly got back with me. He stated that this switch up had never happened before and must have been an issue from Red Wing. In the end, he covered the cost for return shipping, the box FedEx required me to purchase, and issued a refund for the original purchase price of the 9423s. Eli and his crew were great throughout the whole process. I ended up going back to them and bought two more pairs of boots and look forward to their arrival.”

“As we planned to take a bucket list trip to Colorado for our 25th anniversary. I ordered a pair of the Mesa waterproof low hikers. When these arrive, my wife realized she wanted a pair. It was unfortunately three days before we left for our trip. We jumped online, found a pair for her and overnight shipped them however, at checkout, my default settings on Apple Pay switched it to standard shipping. I was unable to make a change to the order that night, I called and spoke with one of your customer service representatives who reached out to the warehouse, found our package and put it in the overnight pile, he graciously did not charge us for that overnight service.
When the package arrived much to my wife’s dismay, we did not upsize our order by a 1/2 size so her new hiking shoes did not fit. Realizing we were about to fly into Denver Colorado near the headquarters, we made plans to swing by the store and exchange them. We flew in on a Thursday and decided to make your small retail store our first stop. Not realizing that the store was closed on Thursdays one of the warehouse workers, Felton saw us and reached out to some of his supervisors in the warehouse to try to help us. Wendy, your HR manager stepped in immediately. Interrupting one of her Zoom calls to get permission to open up the store and get my wife the right pair of shoes, not only did she bring out the half size larger but she brought out some other sizes too just to make sure. We met Steve your operations Director, who gave us some T-shirts. This just confirms our long-held belief that zero is the best company for barefoot shoes.”
