Animal Emergency & Specialty Center
17701 Cottonwood Dr, ParkerWe were referred here by an emergency vet when our puppy was not using his back legs properly, since this center has nuerological specialty vets. We arrived without an appointment at 7am following our emergency vets advice. They accepted us through the ER side and transferred us to the nuerological side after a brief exam and gathering symptoms. I am so thankful they were able to get us in the same day since we drove in from Colorado Springs. All of the vets and techs were very friendly and sympathetic.
They gave our pup an MRI and a spinal tap. It was an all day thing for our pup. We picked him up in the afternoon and finally had answers on what was happening to him, and an optimistic prognosis!
I would highly recommend this place, very clean, well setup, friendly staff techs and vets. We would make the drive again first thing if our pup had issues again!

When I picked Lenny up, he took the time to thoroughly explain everything I should continue working on at home and made sure I felt supported moving forward. The Good Dog Academy Day School and Learning Center

Teeter is my one and a half year old cattle dog. She was quite reactive (still is at times but not nearly as much now), a bit quirky and definitely a challenge.
I was trying so hard to understand her and felt like I was failing her.
Since working with Jo Beth, Teeter has made such progress in her behavior, confidence and obedience.
Jo Beth took the time to understand my dog's personality and helped build a stronger bond between us. Her training methods are always positive and effective!

The burrito is very big, easily two meals unless you’re hungover or trying to stuff yourself. The green chili is very mild (I would have liked it more if it was much hotter). The bacon has a very smokey taste to it and are larger bite size pieces than most places. The potatoes in the burrito are very large cut potatoes (to large for my personal liking) but not going to hold it against it. The service was good. It’s in a dirt parking lot so if it rains it could be messy. I got nothing bad to say about this place, just not my favorite burrito I’ve ever had. I will be back to try other items on the menu when in the area.

I ordered the -Nicks Creation sandwich (sourdough bread, with turkey, prosciutto, white cheddar, garlic aoili spread, avocado, tomato and pepper.) The flavors were good and was made within a few minutes of ordering to-go. I toasted the bread a little more when I got home, but that’s just my personal preference.
Atmosphere was cozy and cute, and the moment you walk inside you’re greeted with a lovely smell of coffee and baked goods, plus very friendly staff.
I did try to call ahead to place my order, but they didn’t pick-up the phone. No big deal, maybe they don’t take orders? It’s a small place, so I assume they only have in-person ordering. But, service is fast so ordering ahead isn’t needed.
I will definitely be back to try their coffee and one of their breakfast bagels for breakfast.

The service is genuinely friendly and attentive. One of the servers, Lea, has a laugh that carries across the whole restaurant, and it sets the tone perfectly. Everyone is welcome and treated with respect and genuine warmth.
And the green chili. I dream about it. I want it on everything, and Stonegate Cafe obliges. It is the reason I show up, and the reason I keep coming back.

Honestly didn't expect much when my girlfriend dragged me out here for trivia night on a Monday but I'm so glad she did. Downhill Brewing is tucked into a little plaza off Parker Road, kind of easy to miss if you're not looking for it. Once you're inside though it opens up way more than you'd think, good sized bar, TVs everywhere, nice vibe.
The beer is really where it's at. They focus a lot on German style stuff which I was a little skeptical about but it totally works. I had the Elk Mountain Brown and it was so good, really smooth and not bitter at all. My girlfriend got something hoppier and loved it too so there's something for everyone which I appreciate because I am not a huge hop head.
The patio is dog friendly and I saw so many cute dogs which honestly made my night. Staff were super friendly and not in a fake way, just genuinely chill people. Trivia was a blast, got a little loud but that's half the fun.
My one gripe is it wasn't totally obvious when we walked in whether to seat ourselves or wait, we just kind of stood there for a second looking lost. But that's so minor. For Parker this place is a gem, way better than I expected and I will definitely be back for growler fills alone.

The Gyros are amazing, all of the dips are made from scratch, and they import a lot of their ingredients. Their Feta is amazing and so much better than you can get even from Murray’s at Kings Soopers. You can buy it by the pound from them as well, which we did last night. Ask for their catering menu and see what you can order to take home.
