From the very first time I met Jimmy for the evaluation, he worked his magic with my 3-year-old pitbull in like two minutes. I was literally shocked—I have no idea how he got my dog’s attention that fast.
Every week was exciting because I couldn’t wait to see what my pup was going to learn next with Jimmy and Tessa. I also loved that Jimmy made everything easy to understand and actually fun, especially when explaining why we do certain things to help our dogs learn what we expect from them.
On top of that, he never made me feel bad about how my dog was—he was super encouraging and made the whole experience really enjoyable. I highly recommend this place. THANK YOU Jimmy and Tessa—you guys are seriously the best of the best!

K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel Lone Tree
7475 Park Meadows Dr, Lone TreeSince they opened, in Lone Tree, our Rottweiler "Riva" has been going to K9 resorts at least 1 day a week for day care. She also boards there when we are out of town. It is the highlight of her week! She comes home exhausted from playing with other dogs and she loves the staff! I highly recommend K9 Resorts!

I smelled it from three stores away, got on the escalator, and by the time I reached the booth I was almost drooling and had fully accepted my fate. I just moved here and somehow I’m already a weekly “refill” regular. This popcorn slaps.

9231 Lincoln Ave #1100, Lone TreeI’ve had ramen at places where there’s a line down the street no matter the hour of the day in other cities. This matches that level of quality and large portions, and I have no idea how this place isn’t constantly packed with a line down the road as well. Anything I get here is absolutely incredible. The sashimi is giant portions and melt in your mouth. Fatty tuna - holy crap good. First time I’ve had pepper tuna of that quality as well. Only complaint is spicy salmon is their base for almost every roll. I haven’t tried it yet as I’m not a spicy salmon fan, but honestly I’m sure it would change my mind if I tried it here. I wasn’t a fan of wasabi (actually hated it) but I tried one of their special dishes which used a dash of wasabi and it was incredible. This place is so darn good, it’ll convince you that the only reason you may not like something is because you haven’t had it made well before. Seriously. Shocked this isn’t an upscale downtown Denver place. I come here like every 2-3 days because it’s just so consistently top notch at a really good price.

Also LOVE that they bring a little refill of your drink of choice with your drink. I down diet coke so it was nice to immediately have my refill ready to go!

8599 S Yosemite St, Lone TreeWe planned a birthday party for my daughter with the help of Chasity. Honestly, it was more than I anticipated. She went above and beyond for us! The entire staff was aware of the party, they had an area set aside for us next to the play place, had a tablecloth, a gift for my daughter, sprinkles for ice cream, and the cow made an appearance. I really appreciate everything they did for us!

Blue Island Oyster Bar and Seafood
10008 Commons St #100, Lone TreeBlue Island Oyster Bar and Seafood is a great spot for fresh seafood and oysters. Their oysters are always very fresh, and honestly, we usually end up ordering multiple rounds every time we go. If you love oysters, this is definitely a place worth trying.
I also really enjoyed the Lobster & Avocado Salad and the Sesame Tuna Poke Salad. Both were fresh, flavorful, and made a great start to the meal. For the main dish, I highly recommend the miso-bazed Chilean sea bass. The sea bass was cooked nicely, and the noodles that came with it were especially delicious. They paired so well with the fish.
Overall, this is a very nice seafood restaurant and oyster bar with fresh ingredients, good flavors, and a relaxing dining experience. Definitely a place I would come back to.
