795 Nassau Way, EnglewoodI was lucky enough to adopt two sweet dumbo baby boys from the Rattery, and they have brought so much joy to my life! I'm new to rats, and the owner, Jax, was really helpful with recommendations for cages, toys, and other supplies, and remains available for any help I need. It's clear Jax really cares about all their rats and is selective with breeding. The adoption process was smooth, and I got photo and video updates before adoption day so I could see them growing up. My boys are so tame and well bred. If if ever need to add to my mischief, I will definitely get back on the waitlist with the Rattery!

3475 S University Blvd Ste 8, EnglewoodI have a husky, Lakota, who will be 9 in August. 3 years ago I went into Kriser's rather desperate to help my girl. Historically, she had a very sensitive stomach after a bee attack when she was 2. One bought of intestinal anaphylaxis later, and she could only keep down boiled chicken for at least 6 months. Then it was a nightmare trying to find food that didn't cause her to throw up bile every morning. Pancreatitis - negative. Anyway, I told this story to Kris at the Downtown Denver Chestnut Place location and he suggested I try raw dehydrated kibble. I picked Stella and Chewy raw dehydrated blend. Starting the very next day, and every day since, no more morning bile. It was incredible. Since then, Lakota's coat and eyes are shiny and bright. She is healthy and very happy!

Her coat is so soft, fluffy, and shiny, and the best part is that she barely sheds for days afterward—it makes such a huge difference!
We're especially grateful for how patient and wonderful they are with our other dog Waffles during nail trims.
Waffles has plenty of opinions about getting her nails cut, but they handle all of her craziness with so much kindness and patience. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing she's in such good hands.
Everyone there is so friendly, and it's obvious they genuinely care about the dogs they work with. We always leave happy, Noodles always looks (and smells!) incredible. We recommend Ark's Pet

Dr. Pasek and staff are so caring towards our needs and our pets needs. We now live in Parker and will drive there no matter what our pet needs. We have had annual check ups, teeth cleaning, mass removals, illnesses and end of life situations. Of all the veterinary clinics I've had experience with they are the best!

I also began taking Rosie to swim once a week to keep her cardio up without adding strain to her joints. When the big pool no longer suited her they were able and willing to arrange for her to use the smaller lap pool. I'm confident Rosie survived a, thankfully, benign tumor being removed from her spleen that had caused internal bleeding at 14 because of her heart health and access to care she received at CRCG Englewood. I've found the staff knowledgeable, respectful, and passionate about helping dogs rehabilitate injuries and engage in preventative care.

VRCC Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Hospital
3550 South Jason Street, EnglewoodI haven’t read the reviews but I would imagine that there is some feedback on the cost here. Yes, VRCC is expensive. For emergency services you can expect to pay a hefty premium. I will say that the team there is honest and not looking to kick you when you’re down.
Our primary vet requested an echocardiogram, which they weren’t equipped to do. Called VRCC and made appt with cardiologist but was told we could come in sooner if condition worsened. Condition worsened slightly and we came in for a visit. After an ultrasound and reviewing records from primary, the cardiologist was very honest about the procedure and how it would not change the course of treatment nor could they use it to make a determination one way or another.
The staff overall is very informative and kind. People are often visiting here on their worst day and they are acutely aware of this.
Also they’re in my backyard and have temporarily sheltered my golden retriever who loves to go on self guided tours of the neighborhood sometimes. They haven’t once batted an eye over it.

2701 West Oxford Avenue Suite 1, EnglewoodI truly cannot say enough great things about the boarding and training experience for my 11-month-old Labrador! When we first got her, I thought I would be able to train her myself, but there were a few things that just weren’t sticking — especially walking nicely, barking, and recall.
I started with a few one-on-one sessions with Stevi and then enrolled my pup in the two-week board and train, and the difference is night and day. Our walks used to be stressful, and now I can actually enjoy them! She is so much more confident, listens to my commands, and is ultimately safer because of the training she received.
I also loved getting an overview video each day showing what she worked on and learned that day. It made me feel so involved in the process even while she was away.
I cannot recommend Off Leash K9 and Stevi enough! Not only did she make an incredible difference in my dog’s behavior, but my Lab absolutely adored her — which made me feel even better about leaving her in her care. We are so grateful for everything Stevi did for us!
