795 Nassau Way, EnglewoodI was lucky enough to adopt two sweet dumbo baby boys from the Rattery, and they have brought so much joy to my life! I'm new to rats, and the owner, Jax, was really helpful with recommendations for cages, toys, and other supplies, and remains available for any help I need. It's clear Jax really cares about all their rats and is selective with breeding. The adoption process was smooth, and I got photo and video updates before adoption day so I could see them growing up. My boys are so tame and well bred. If if ever need to add to my mischief, I will definitely get back on the waitlist with the Rattery!

She was patient and very knowledgeable about dog training and helped me figure out how to best train and support my dog. I would recommend her to anyone! I will definitely be taking more training classes with Amber!

3475 S University Blvd Ste 8, EnglewoodI have a husky, Lakota, who will be 9 in August. 3 years ago I went into Kriser's rather desperate to help my girl. Historically, she had a very sensitive stomach after a bee attack when she was 2. One bought of intestinal anaphylaxis later, and she could only keep down boiled chicken for at least 6 months. Then it was a nightmare trying to find food that didn't cause her to throw up bile every morning. Pancreatitis - negative. Anyway, I told this story to Kris at the Downtown Denver Chestnut Place location and he suggested I try raw dehydrated kibble. I picked Stella and Chewy raw dehydrated blend. Starting the very next day, and every day since, no more morning bile. It was incredible. Since then, Lakota's coat and eyes are shiny and bright. She is healthy and very happy!

1220 E Hampden Ave, EnglewoodWe absolutely love Ark's Pet Grooming! Noodles is a long-haired shepherd mix, and every time she goes in for a blowout, she comes home looking absolutely amazing. Her coat is so soft, fluffy, and shiny, and the best part is that she barely sheds for days afterward—it makes such a huge difference!
We're especially grateful for how patient and wonderful they are with our other dog Waffles during nail trims.
Waffles has plenty of opinions about getting her nails cut, but they handle all of her craziness with so much kindness and patience. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing she's in such good hands.
Everyone there is so friendly, and it's obvious they genuinely care about the dogs they work with. We always leave happy, Noodles always looks (and smells!) incredible. We recommend Ark's Pet

3760 S Lipan St, EnglewoodGreat care was taken by Dr Linklater to examine my older dog and she reviewed his history with me thoroughly and suggested a plan for improvement. We have hope this process is going to be helping pain management and rehab.
Update- after a month of work with Dr Linklater and others at the CRCC, my boy’s physical situation is improved. He has a brace for his 14 year old knee. He has been receiving acupuncture and laser treatments and i think they are helpful. Dr Linklater not only sees to the animal’s well-being but also addresses caregiver concerns and pressures. I appreciate her empathy and understanding and most of all her advice and counsel.

3550 S Jason St, EnglewoodWe have visited this emergency vet for each of our two dogs once over the last few years. Each time it was when our dog got into something like chocolate that they shouldn't have. Obviously prices are maybe higher than your average vet clinic due to it being after hours/emergency but they also really save lives and do everything they can for your fur babies. The first time we went the waiting room was kinda busy but they took our dog back immediately while we filled out paperwork. She ingested chocolate and they immediately did what they needed to, to make sure she was safe. The second visit we were the only ones there so our dog was also taken back immediately. Each visit the doctor herself came out to tell us the plan of action and answer any questions. Price is not discussed at this time because they are doing what is necessary in the emergency situation. After the vet goes over the plan with you they go back and get to work and you checkout and get your itemized bill. The entire process both times has been fairly fast and I really appreciate the doctor coming out to talk to you and make sure every question is answered. They also will contact your normal vet and give them records so the next day my vet followed up with us as well as VRCC. I hope no one ever has to use this service but if the time comes that your dog is in trouble them this is the place to go

VRCC Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Hospital
3550 S Jason St, EnglewoodMy normal Vet had be bring my shepherd here out of concern of her gum color. After checking her out and verifying they were a normal color, the doctor was also very transparent in telling me that the other issue we were there for was not an emergency, if I wanted to just follow up with my vet to save myself some money. I decided to take that suggestion and the doc waived my exam fee and sent me on my way, which was just so kind of her to do!! They easily could have still charged me the exam fee, but she saved me $200!
I highly recommend this place for honest care, and will be coming back for any future emergencies!

2701 W Oxford Ave #1, EnglewoodCouldn’t recommend Off Leash enough -Stevie is an incredible trainer! We brought our 4 year old doggo in after a series of aggressive interactions with other dogs.
Stevie taught her a series of commands over 4 weeks, brought out other dogs as distractions during trainings, and gave us homework to practice with our dog in between sessions.
She really helped our pup build confidence and in our final lesson our pup was able to play with another dog for the first time in years. 10/10 would recommend, we couldn’t be happier with the results!

Parking is available about 1/2 block away in a public parking area. Behind some businesses or on the street. The food tastes fresh and clean. It’s a small restaurant that does great business. I think their take out is substantial. The ambiance is comfortable, clean and modern. I have tried other Vietnamese restaurants and not cared for them. This is where you want to go. I like the combination bowls with a glass of Chardonnay.
