“Just went to Big Tool Box to get my wife a Stihl Weed Wacker for her birthday (don't judge me) Parking lot and store were PACKED. I almost said the heck with fighting this crowd and turned around to go get her a Wakmart Ironing Board, but I love her dearly so I put on a patient brave face and joined the masses - I went to the well marked Stihl section and picked out the one I wanted and because of how busy it was I figured I would have to wait a while. Nope - Daniel was able to help me with all the needed accessories and get me checked out and downstairs for the initial start-up. In and out in 10 minutes with amazing competent service. In the valley of the blind the man with one eye is king- Consider Big Tool Box the King”

“I was trying to hook up a European bidet, but for warmer water I wanted to hook it up to the sink line instead of the toilet line. I went to Lowe's because it was closer but their lack of knowledge had me coming and going with little success. I then called Brook at George T Sanders, branch #3, she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and invited me to come in. Once I arrived Brian helped me take a different look at the project and he actually figured out how to make the connection that I had been struggling with for over a week. “Love this neighborhood store. The staff were friendly and helpful. The gentleman who helped me yesterday deal with a few odd broken wheels was ultra kind. I’ve had negative experiences with customer service in big home improvement stores before, so to know that my neighborhood store is a friendly spot is a great plus. Also huge plus for me was being able to bike right to the front door to lock up and walk in. I highly recommend my Highland neighbors to come here for their home improvement needs.”

“I have been going through a kitchen, flooring and bath remodel for a few weeks now. Because I was concerned about supply chain issues, all appliances were ordered many weeks in advance. My island downdraft vent that was supposed to be coming from the big box store with the orange label just kept getting delayed with no end in site. I even spoke with Whirlpool to find out if they could locate another unit and they said no.My contractor called his supplier (Ferguson) and they advised that they had one in stock and I could come down and get it. I spoke with the sales guy and provided my credit card and then jumped in the car to go down to pick it up. Once there I waited what seemed like a long time at the loading doc. After a bit, a nice guy came over to tell me the item wasn't where they expected it to be and they were looking for it. After my struggles with both the big box store and the manufacturer I was preparing myself for yet another disappointment and delay. After a bit longer the nice guy came back and said they must not have the item but they would upgrade me at not charge to a different downdraft that they had in stock and I could take it home right then.I think it is well known that Whirlpool is the manufacturer for a bunch of familiar brand names and the price goes up as the cache of the name goes up, but the items are identical save for the branding badge. That is what I went home with. The exact specs and dimensions I needed but with a fancier brand name. Thank you, Ferguson, for doing the right thing to make your customer happy. I will ALWAYS recommend your store for your employee empowerment and your customer service.”
