“The gentleman working the register this morning 7/19/2023 at 8:30am MT deserves a raise. He was working 2 registers AND manually enabling malfunctioning pumps like he'd been doing it from birth. There was a line, and he was keeping the line moving well, in addition to being polite and professional. Fantastic job! This is the Conoco at Smoky Hill and Southlands Mainstreet, not the one up the road at Ponderosa.”
“The owner and his employees have been truly wonderful. I've never been all that loyal to a convenience store previously until I started coming here. My experience with the owner is he treats customers how he wants to be treated. He takes pride in his store and it shows. He doesn't put up with any nonsense and I'm glad! In today's world so many stores are taught to put up with way too much.”

“Any place that sells the least expensive gas gets 5 stars! I have been here 3 times in 10 days. The Gas Buddy App keeps showing this place as the lowest price in my general area. I am from Los Angeles, CA and have been sightseeing every day. Thank goodness I have a safe place to fill up! I guess a lot of gas stations don't sell Unleaded Ethanol Free Gas? This place advertises on the gas price sign that they sell it. They fuel types they sell are: Diesel, Unleaded Ethanol Free, Unleaded, Unleaded Plus, and Super Unleaded. I haven't been inside the store because I don't need anything. I'm sure it has the same stuff as other convenience stores attached to a gas station! I hope I won't need to refuel again, but if I do, I will definitely return here yet again!!”
“I couldn't be happier with this little store. They were open Christmas morning when we desperately needed cold medicine for our little ones. Not only was the young lady working absolutely wonderful but they had exactly what we needed! Plus, best Christmas decorations!! 5 stars!”

Malik was nearby working, and he saw me trying to figure out the self-check, so he immediately stopped what he was working on (emptying the trashes), and came over to assist. He was friendly and helpful and is a great representative of Maverick. With that attitude and work ethic, Malik will go far.”

“Wow! This has to be the most spectacular petrol station on the planet. Not only are they conveniently located just 2 or 3 miles from the airport along the 37 mile Peña Blvd trail, which legend tells of wagon trains getting lost, while seeking new lands to steal from indigenous populations. It's an oasis like none other. You can fill your tanks with fuel priced just as one would expect as the only option between the Kansas territory and Denver, and while your filing you second mortgage to do so, fill your guts with a vast array of American Fast Food, that is facilitating deforestation and filling our landfills full of Styrofoam food containers faster than big pharma can produce pseudo-opiates for our next generation of under-educated, tent dwellers. Pull-up, and Fill-up 66!”

“I will only be getting 7-11 or ConocoPhillips gas from now on. It's the only gas (premium from anywhere) that gets my car to run like it's supposed to. The staff at most of them seem to be a lot nicer than people from circle k or anything like that.”

“I’ve been coming to this gas station/convenience mart for about a year now - consistently - as I work at the airport. i enrolled in the crew points loyalty program and LOVE it. This location is ALWAYS busy - it’s the only gas station super close by to the rental car places. I’ve never had a bad experience here with employees. Mo is AWESOME and so is Selena - they always make me feel welcome and really interact with me. They are always short staff but these two ROCK it and multi task like none other. They do the best they can with the staff they have to work the check out lines and encourage self check out for basic (no ID needed) purchases. I’m seriously here almost everyday after work to grab something before my commute home. The only bad experiences have been other peoples (customers) attitudes when they’re not helped in a timely manner or are demanding things when there’s a line of other customers. I am in customer service and most Of my life have been in retail - I wish people would have more patience and empathy towards our front line workers! Love coming here and I’m forever loyal! Thanks Mo and Selena!”
