“Another gem in the rough. Stopped for a 30. Clean restroom, noticed they had kitchen, ordered a cold sub, curled fries and fried mushrooms. Very tasty and prepared exactly the way I asked. Very patient and friendly staff. Parking for larger vehicles however, dirt lot has large low spots and should be filled in. Will stop again if I get the chance. Thanks for hospitality!”
“We left Kansas on our way home to Grand Junction, Co after getting our battery jumped. We bought a battery at O'Reilly and they told us we couldn't change it ourselves due the car needing a computer reset. Luckily, Elijah from Pit Stop Lube Shop was in O'Reilly and told us to come down to his families shop. They were able to get us in quickly and get our battery changed and get us back on the road! The owners were so friendly and helpful. Recommend this shop 100%!!”

I had an amazing experience at the Love's Travel Stop on Oliver Street in Lamar, Colorado, on June 2nd, 2024. The on-duty staff, Jonathan and Val, were absolutely superior in their customer service. They were friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed.
What really stood out was Liz, a visiting off-duty staff member, who still embodied that Love's hospitality. Her warmth and helpfulness truly made a difference, even when she wasn't officially working.
This store exemplifies excellent customer service, and I will definitely be visiting again! Thank you to Jonathan, Val, and Liz for making my visit so pleasant.”

“The construction seems non-ending but the employees make the best of it and they give you a good experience every time you're in there. I like the long tall thin guy that works in graveyard shift he's very polite respectful and always says hello when you come in the door without being offensive like at some loaf n jugs”

“This establishment is a good location for weary travelers. Homemade food, and your typical convenience store items. Yes, it has dirt parking and can sometimes be a muddy mess, but inside is where the charm is. It's not as busy with truck traffic and if you are just needing a clean bathroom and a snack, this is a good place to stop. Try the food, you won't be disappointed.”
