“Shopped at the Milford location and I can say that this location was very clean and organized. However, the older lady at the cashier was unpleasant.
First, I had asked if they accept Apple Pay. Before I could even finish she cut me off saying, “we don’t take Apple Pay here”. So I pulled out my card and proceeded with my purchase.
Secondly, I came in here spending $100+ and the lady didn’t even bag my items and didn’t wrap my glass items either. I had to ask her for wrapping paper… as soon as I paid, she just took the next customer as I had to bag my own (several) items. It made it feel like an awkward shopping experience for me.
I’d understand if I had only bought a couple of items. However, I bought several items (some fragile items as well).
Idk if this is how employees are trained here but for the price they charge for their items. You’d think you’d get better quality service.
I would suggest to better train your staff to make a comfortable shopping experience for people. Because this was not it for me… nice store tho!”

“We've been doing business with Ken at Close to Home for many years. All of our Hunter Douglas window treatments are from them. Ken helped me pick out the right products for our home and installed them all. He's always been available if something needs fixing too. Excellent customer service and very knowledgeable. He was always on time and easy to work with. I had to run in to pick up a blind they fixed for us and noticed they sold vacuums too! I mentioned to Paul, the owner, that my vacuum was acting up. He graciously told me to bring it in and he would check it out. They ended up servicing it and it's working great now. When we're ready for a new Sebo, we'll get it there. Authentic customer service goes a long way these days, much appreciated, thank you Paul & Ken...”
“I come here whenever I need art supplies and they usually have what I need and at a decent price. The store is well-organized and it's easy to check if they have something online before I look in-store.
Checking out can be a bit slow at times and it would be faster if they had several self-checkout machines like Michaels.”

“HomeGoods was one of the worst places during the pandemic times.. They were open, they count the people coming and going being counted at door… great but if you buy a food related item they sell it to you.. but if you want to return it “oh no due to covid 19 we cant take back food related items!! “
The workers shook their shoulder said take it to TJMAXX management to complain..
So it is ok they handle the food related items, they take it out of the box, they put it on shelf, they touch it again at register multiple times when you buy it, put it in a bag… but if you want to return it after buying it.. “no cant take it back”
Because they are spotless and cleanest place.. but we are not!!!
During the virus activities, I recommend NOT TO BUY any food related item at HOMEGOODS anymore..
Now that pandemic situation thankfully over, Home Goods came back to new setup..
If you need something for your house, they probably have it.. enjoy your shopping!!”
