“We recently remodeled our master bathroom and purchased all the hardware from Bender, Hartford, CT. Bender carries such a wide range of products that the choices may seem overwhelming! However, Melissa, provided all the necessary insights in a convivial manner without any sales pressure. We strolled through the store, reviewed individual choices, and asked multiple questions, enabling informed decisions. Without Melissa's guidance, we would have been lost! While the prices may be slightly higher than perhaps a hardware store, the service and access to expert knowledge, easily compensate for the difference. “My wife and I used Pistritto Marble Imports for a recent kitchen update and were incredibly happy with their support. Throughout the entire process they were available to make recommendations and steer the design of the kitchen to ensure the countertops were everything we had hoped for. We were able to walk their entire facility until we found the perfect material and pattern for our design goals. The measurement and installation process was faster than expected, so we were into our new kitchen sooner than expected. We plan to work with them again for future projects requiring countertops.”

“I phoned Mather to ask if they cut Corian because I needed to replace an over-the-oven microwave and thought the Corian back splash had to be trimmed. Tom offered to visit to see the project. I emailed pictures instead. He talked me though how to do mount the support bracket on the Corian and even gave me the name of an installer who had worked for him previously and would be less expensive than his crew, if I needed an installer. When I removed the old microwave and took measurements, I realized I could mount the new microwave in the same space as the old. No need to mount on the Corian. Nevertheless, I applaud Tom's willingness to share helpful advice, knowing he might not be getting the job. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him should the need arise. He's a decent businessman!”

Jim and Sara listened to what we wanted and came up with several very creative solutions. They were patient throughout our angst of getting things just right - configuration, color, material, lighting and every detail we could imagine. We now have a wonderful view out to the yard, lots of counter space and lots of thoughtful storage for everything.John, and Ed managed the entire installation process and always kept us informed of the schedule.
