“I recently embarked on a project to repaint a birdbath and was advised by the sandblasters that I needed a metal primer before applying the paint, to prevent rust. A quick Google search led me to Joe's Floor Store & Grand Paint, a place I've driven by countless times without realizing it was a paint store!
The experience was fantastic, thanks to the extremely helpful young man who assisted me. He patiently walked me through all the primer and paint options available for metal. This was a breath of fresh air compared to the big box stores, where I often feel lost and unassisted.
I can't recommend this location enough! Plus, they speak English and Spanish, which is a great bonus. Ellos hablan ingles y español.”
“Always come here when starting a project around the house. They almost always have what I need in stock, and the app makes it easy to find which aisle things are in. The self-checkout usually moves pretty fast too.
Took off a star because it can be really tough to track down an employee if you have a quick question or need something cut, especially on a weekend morning when it's busy. Once you do find someone though, they're usually helpful. Overall a reliable spot, just give yourself a little extra time if you need actual assistance.”

Why advertise curbside pickup if the service isn't actually functional? I checked in for a curbside pickup order and sat in my car for over 25 minutes, only to discover no one was ever coming out. I had to go inside, explain the situation, and wait even longer while an associate was finally alerted to gather my items.
This is the only Home Depot location where I consistently run into curbside pickup failures. If a store doesn't have the staffing or system to support curbside service, they shouldn't offer it. It ends up taking twice as long as just walking in yourself.”
“What a difference between this HD and the one in East Haven.. This store was clean, well stocked, and employees who were actually going out of there way to help. Is the East Haven store some kind of experiment?”
“Had a delivery issue with missing products and went through corporate first since that’s the number they tell you to call. Unfortunately, they were no help at all.
After getting nowhere, I went into the store and Antwan resolved everything within minutes. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience at the store level. Thank you, Antwan!”
