“Visiting from MD for a family reunion here in Connecticut. Lots of Deli shops to choose from in this area, decided to choose a smaller local shop for lunch. Cold cut ham sandwich, and Philly steak sub were delicious!!! Also tried the raspberry crumb cake they had, SO good! Will definitely come back next year! 5/5 stars. Prices are fair, 8-9.00 for a Grinder. Baked goods are 2.99. And costumer service is off the charts. Such sweet people!”

“Well worth the trip. What they lack is extremely well compensated by the immense savings they pass onto the customer. Their order pick system is also incredibly speedy, usually being ready hours before pick-up time if you’d like to arrive early.The staff is sparse, you have to have quarters to get a cart, and the inventory is somewhat limited as it’s a smaller store than most supermarkets. That being said, the staff that’s there is fantastic, and the prices are unbeatable. I pay $100 here for what I’d spend $200 on at my local supermarket. With everything being so expensive nowadays, it’s been a significant help. I still get a few select items that aren’t available at Aldi from other stores, but the majority of the household grocery shopping is done through their website now.Additionally, according to all the job listings I’ve seen, they pay a few dollars above minimum wage, so their cost cutting doesn’t involve skimping on hourly wages. I enjoy not participating in that sort of garbage.The beer is undrinkable, though. If you’re thinking about buying that from here, I’d advise you simply don’t. Most other things, however, are good quality, and I highly recommend the store.”

I go there all the time but was finally compelled to write a review after seeing the staff work their butt's off right at open (they open at 7). When you examine their prices and selection, plus the amazing staff, you will learn easily that this is the best grocery store in the Danbury CT area. “My mother has had her groceries delivered from here for several years to her home. She has since moved to a skilled nursing facility a month ago. I recently called to add a decorative small tree/plant for a surprise Christmas cheer to add to her room to be delivered and was assisted by the online shopping staff. They were exceptionally helpful in choosing a cute tree and then surpassed any expectations by placing lights (even installed batteries) and decorations on it! “If you haven't stopped by and given Midways deli a try then you are 100% missing out! Their sandwiches are the best around town!! Not only is the food to die for but the service is amazing as well. Great hospitality which is very hard to come by these days. Midway Market and Deli definitely gives you that family like experience. To anyone who hasn't visited Midway yet I encourage you to head there ASAP. I promise you won't be disappointed.”

I’m also very happy to find a stash of yellow dragon fruit!! Those are so hard to find and in here they have a mountain of yellow dragon fruit! They have this machine that makes stunning peanut butter right in front of your eyes! They also sell many choices of high quality single origin Extra Virgin Olive Oil. My wife and I are really considering making this our default supermarket.”

“Great egg sandwiches and cheeseburgers. Lynn is very cordial and pleasant to deal with. Unlike the previous owner Randy, who I feel stole my winning lottery ticket back in the early 90s. This is before the machine would say "Congratulations!". I handed him my ticket to be checked. The machine played a quick 5 beeps. I asked him what that was. He paused and said "Oh it just does that." and then said "It's not a winner." Being young and not having played the lottery before, I trusted him. Now that I think about it, I could have won a jackpot, but I'll never know for sure.”

“While visiting CT, stopped at the BJ's Warehouse and realized they had a gas station too! Only $2.85/gallon. $2.75/gal if you have a BJ's MasterCard. Had to wait for a pump about 5 mins but worth it! Got over 10 gallons of gas for only $30! That is a steal compared to NYC prices and makes the membership fee worth it.”

And, for the animal lovers like me, there were a couple of dogs resting in the shade and a cat asking to be petted...”
